Hi all!! Remember the thread before this, when it was called 'UK/Eire H Drought', When that thread ended was it wiped off? Coz i was trying to look back over it so a could figure dates of when i last used, & when exactly did the drought start & i was going to try figure out how many countless times i went to score 'fire' but ended up coming home with bash!!!!

But i can't find the threads? & when i looked through my old posts they all seem to be gone? Maybe i am searching wrong? I'm not very good with computers!

ive asked about them, there were loads, i want to know what wasgoing on then too!! tho it was exactly the same as whats going on now, there is no gear, or there are its and pieces of gear that have a little bit of gear in them, occasionally there is a bit of nice strong gear, and there are also 100% pure bash mixes going on out there.

itdid get nice here again for a while, but i just wish that it hadnt, coz i was kind of ready just to keep going without it, but it just stays there, i n yer head.

nice one basket. i ve been shoppin,g and got loads of healthy things, have been massively run down, and i cant believe the money ive spent chasing this bash, there was no way i would have chased the shit gear so much in december, its just all just madness.

Fucking hell kat you were lucky

I know of a lad in my town who's lost a leg, think he was injecting in his leg, got an abcess, blood poisoning, so they had to cut his leg off just above the knee. And quite a few ppl hobbling around on crutches cos they got DVT's by injecting in the groin. So many ppls legs are fucked with them.

Another lad I know, he used to inject the green tamazzie eggs amongst a few other pills of various descriptions that used to be about yrs ago, had to have his arm amputated as they used to set and clog up in your veins

There really isn't anything good about injecting, you might get a hit quicker and more intense, but is it really worth all the risk? After you build up tolerance, which is pretty quick even if you just smoke, IVing doesn't really have that much affect, unless you can get rocket gear which is pretty fkn rare now.
And the cluck off an IV rattle, much much worse than a smoking habit.

Trouble is, a lot of ppl, myself included in the past, have thought to themselves 'it won't happen to me' when it always does It's a real bastard when ppl have to drink, take benzos and IV gear to get anything from it. I've done it mesself cos the gears been so wank, even before the drought. Fucking smack is a fucking disgrace in this country now.

Have scored a few times in Dublin this week and last. Quality slowly improving overall, but with less than average quality in mind prices are still very hiked.

First time: Some chap in one of the better known streets of few years ago, south side. Randomer, about 18. Took a chance. 25 bag, maybe a bad/ok 20e PD bag. Slight smell of gear through the bag, (I always pre-judge my gear by how it strong the smell is through the bag) but also stunk of weed. Im assuming the young man kept his gear and weed beside each other in his underpants.
Had a shot. Weak, but felt warmth and slight rush on top of 50mgs daily methadone. 5/10 (7-8/10 being average PD in my opinion)

The next day I didnt take my methadone and got a bag off a fairly established dealer who hasnt had good for a while but did have heaviled bashed gear all through the drought, even when there was none around. So took another chance basically and got a 25e bag from him which was to be fair okish 20 bag PD size. Slight smell of gear through the bag.
Had a shot. Took away my sickness but felt little else. Put it onto the foil before cooking and from the way it ran it looked half gear, half cut (as they were running in two different blobs). 4/10

Then I got a call from another who has had average for a while saying "stuff was top of the pops, bags 25euro and small in size, but worth it because of quality". Bag was like a bad/decent 15e bag youd get on the quays back a year or two ago. Strong smell of gear from the bag, but smelt like a different kind of gear, one that i would have smelt 1 in every 10 bags before the drought (when I had a gear habit instead of methadone), if that makes any sense.
Looked like decent gear. Even imagined i might have seen a few rocks in it.
Had a shot. Felt it slightly and tasted gear in the back of my mouth. Bags were so small that id have needed 2 at least to get off. So 25euro was a waste, but it was decent gear. Perhaps 50euro would have got me there, but that really is too much to be paying for a shot. 6.5-7/10. Almost PD gear.

I will be saving the rest of my painting money for other things. Gear is still too expensive and the market like a mine-field, even for someone on a script who dabbles once or twice a week (cant imagine how hard it is for someone who has a habit and doesnt have a script to fall back on) disappointment is likely to ensue for someone without a decent dealer they can trust.

It's odd i havn't read this thread in a while as I've been sticking to my script and trying to stay clean, but last week I fucked up and went on a 5 day bender on the gear/oxycontin constantly. 2 of my best friends have started on the pins, and over the space of 2 weeks have completely changed in the way they use gear, they're tolerance, one has totally fuckin ruined his arm from horrible shooting technique It's fuckin horrible to see and it's breakin my heart also. I've pinned gear on a few occasions but i'm not an IV user generally and have managed to not get in to doin it regularly, but my mates have gone at it full throttle and I don't think they're gonna stop. Not only are they pinning but they're taking fuckin huge risks with their lifes, both are on subbies, they're doing shots after ducking their doses, taking benzo's and drink to get more of a gauch, and anything I say just doesnt get through cos theyre so smacked out, such as you might go under or your gonna loose your fucking arm if you keep missing and scaring up your veins. I feel bad enough that I started using again, even worse that I had to shoot my mate up because if he did it himself he would of completely fucked his veins up. In short, they're personality's have drastically changed and it makes me fuckin sad

Stay away from pinning up if you can, don't start if you havn't already as already pointed out, there are no positives and plenty of reasons not to.

I appreciate your pals might have poor technique and u are helping them out but if they are flat out on it as it sounds , i'd hate for you to be adminstering a shot that could take someone over. It wouldn't necessarily be your fault but like u said their behaviour is well erratic . maybe they might not tell you what they have had earlier on n if they are takin benzos as well? The benzo's stay in your system for a while , well the longer acting ones do .
I'm sure u have thought about this but fixing for others can have serious repercussions. Take care, Brimz

Cause I live near chesterfield I tend to buy 8th's and make it last a few days I dunno bout points. My mans runner's gone awol in last few days if that gives you a hint. Apart from a week over christmas and the last few weeks, things have been bleak. What i'm getting now is good for sure. I just wonder with all the unrest around libya egypt etc, refugees will smuggle their wealth into uk via heroin. Thus generating a flood. your absolutely right that is what caused the 80's surge in heroin availability in the UK on the 80's, but I think that the current unrest will have little affect on things here at the moment!!! I used to buy 8ths but i just end up having A MAD 24HOUR BINGE!!

Yeah man, this has been tearing me up inside, I've told em I'm not gonna fix him again, he's had other people doing it but I think he's learned to do it on his own on a basic level. Luckily he was ok and the shot was done properly, but if something had happened I wouldn't of been able to live with myself, hence I flat out refuse to fuckin help them anymore. I'm getting a score later on from em and I know for a fact they'll wanna shoot up round my house as they've no place else to do it, I'm gonna tell em to fuck off and leave us be for the time being as I can't be around it. If they wanna fix up they need to do it somewhere else as I'm not having my mates ODing in my house. I'm gutted about the whole situation, but I if they won't listen to me then there is little more I can do for em. I was aware of the possibilities of something happening, but at the time I couldnt watch him take his arms off, wish I hadnt done anything at all and just left them to it, but I tried to give em as much advice as possible to keep em as safe as possible. Hi Tryptamite!!! Yeah my Dublin report is the very same as yours, its the same everywhere!!! Exactly as you say its all less then average gear at crazy prices!!! I'm not going to even try to score this week, i just can't bare to waste any more cash on crap!! I've had to work hard all week for my cash, so i'm not handing it over again for the 4th week in a row for promise of 'fire' that always turns out to be the same bloody 2 or 3/10 gear!!

Your trip to Switzerland must be soon, your probably better off saving your cash for that. The word 'pre~drought' & 'fire' was been thrown around so much last week, but to me it was all just low grade crap!! At least i know Tryptamite that you & i are looking for the very same grade of gear, god only knows what people must have been using before the drought if they consider whats going around now as fire? But you & i must have been getting the same good stuff before the drought & i'm not going to be happy untill the quality is back to what we were used to!! I understand that there is a drought on so i am prepared to pay a bit over the odds for the gear, but i'm not paying over the odds for the rubbish that is around Dublin at the moment!!! 8(

In saying that you got gear this week that was 6.5 or 7/10, so that is a bit of an improvement, & i totally trust your judgment on the grading!! So maybe things are on the up!!!
