I only IV'd a handfull of times but i managed to get a chemical burn from injecting pills and was just days from losing my arm
i got to the hospital just in time but i had got septicaemia and was on deaths door having IV antibiotics one after another for 2 wks
during this time i had to have all the dead tissue cut from my arm every day.not only does this stink but i could see the bone and the remains of my veins and just nothing else there
over time it grew back and i was lucky to get away with a small scar.the doctors said i would need plastic surgery but i healed real well.
as a result i can never give blood cos once you had septicaemia,you never really get rid of it.
but i was laying there in that hospital bed thinking 'how am i gonna live my life with one arm?'
since then i think i have IV'd twice.i need my arms

I know of a lad in my town who's lost a leg, think he was injecting in his leg, got an abcess, blood poisoning, so they had to cut his leg off just above the knee. And quite a few ppl hobbling around on crutches cos they got DVT's by injecting in the groin. So many ppls legs are fucked with them.

Another lad I know, he used to inject the green tamazzie eggs amongst a few other pills of various descriptions that used to be about yrs ago, had to have his arm amputated as they used to set and clog up in your veins

There really isn't anything good about injecting, you might get a hit quicker and more intense, but is it really worth all the risk? After you build up tolerance, which is pretty quick even if you just smoke, IVing doesn't really have that much affect, unless you can get rocket gear which is pretty fkn rare now.
And the cluck off an IV rattle, much much worse than a smoking habit.

Trouble is, a lot of ppl, myself included in the past, have thought to themselves 'it won't happen to me' when it always does It's a real bastard when ppl have to drink, take benzos and IV gear to get anything from it. I've done it mesself cos the gears been so wank, even before the drought. Fucking smack is a fucking disgrace in this country now.

when i was in hospital,during the 2 wks,i had to have the drip IV moved several times cos your body rejects the cannula
and that's with a professional doing it
so when you do it yourself,one handed,that vein's not gonna last long

Hope you feel better today. Keep taking the vits and up your diet like i said. As bagheads we tend to have shitty diets, i used to have an absolute appalling diet, consisted of toast, yoghurts and cups of coffee and not much fucking else i didn't really think it was that much of a big deal until i changed me diet and my depression lifted.

We don't get enough iron, vits minerals etc, lots of us have nutrition deficiencies. when i started a better diet, getting plenty of veg, fruit, vits etc, i started to feel better in body and in mind as well. esp the vit D & vit B, they're really good for yer brain, lifting that crappy mood we all get. it just keeps us all more balanced. it really does help. We need food for our brains, not the so called 'smack' that's about, which is AN ABSOLUTE BAG OF WANK!!

BUT! He's got a few bags left of this really nice stuff that's come straight from Pakistan via his mate (just had a toot now and it's lush) which, seeing as I'm "his best customer", he's gunna save me 2 bags that I can tick off him tomorrow
So yea, I got 1 bag of the stuff I've been getting for the past couple of months (which is nice in itself) and 1 bag of this really lush stuff... Woh it's coming on rather heavy actually! It's about twice as strong as the older stuff..

The bag's rather small but it makes up for quantity with quality
But, yet another but, if he's getting this bash again, it looks like things might not be too good for a while
I'll let him know about the recent OD's as that may help him score some good stuff... A bad way to use such tragic circumstances though

i think i'd like it to get back to normal, at first i was glad there wasn't any gear about which made it easier for me to get clean. but now i'm thinking i wish it would return to normal, so at least i know it's there. maybe it's cos i got a bit of a crave head on atm, not too bad tho. don't hold much hope of it getting back to the norm though. i think maybe smacks had its day in this country it's just so bloody unreliable it's unreal.

Aye most of Bratfuds gear seems to be cut to fuck atm, it's crazy, I prolly would've got better gear from my old birth town up in the Yorks Dales in th middle of nowhere lol

I'm trying to cut down on vally vallies too, cos atm they aint doing nothing, my tolerance to them is too high and been on them too long. I only on a low dose atm, so just need to get rid of the last few mg that i take. I hope it's not gonna be too much of a head doer, I know benzos can be a bastard to come off. never done a benzo 'rattle' before so don't really know what to expect I wonder how long it takes to get your tolerance back down,so they start working again. My clinic wants everyone off them anyway, so haven't got much choice in the matter, don't know if this has anything to do with the new drug policy or what

Yea I got to the point that 20mg would do practically nothing so I knew I needed to start tapering. Also, being silly with them sometimes works out quite well, as I'll be out for a few days so then, when I get my script, I can take 4mg and actually feel it, feel calm, anxiety free and stop shaking, which seems to happen in the morning quite a bit

Search for "The Ashton Manual" on Google - excellent resource for all things Benzo, including tapering scheduals Definitely, definitely don't do it cold-turkey as you'll find yourself fucked up beyond all belief 8(

And yea - It seems that everyone's scripts are getting the slash from what Shammy's been telling me. The NHS has probably said to all GP's to get their patients off them and into other means of treatment, CBT and other forms of therapy.

Thats funny. This phenomena seems to be worldwide. The Border Brothers, (basically slang for mexican nationals here illegally, as opposed to first generation mexican-americans that tend to afiliate into gangs if they go that route- that control other drug trade, ect...)

Anyway, back through the 90s I had a connection. When I would call they would say veinte minutos, veinte minutos (20 minutes, but it would usually take hours for them to deliver.) So this problem seems to be world wide- although I hear the street dealers in Ohio which is in tar country despite its location have taken a "cutomer service approach" like giving out free bags if they're late, and other such things to keep customers happy.

Waiting hours to score, I think was the main reason here in the San Diego area to make the 5 min- 1 hour drive depending were you live in the county, daily, and running the risks of comming back across the border- because people were sick of waiting and Tijuana had many sure thing quick hook up outdoor scenes.

I'm with you, I'd hate the lying because you'd be stuck waiting- if you had an accurate time you could stop watching the clock and get something done or not be tortured by the anticipation- and the deceit- after saying 20 minutes we'd call an hour later and they would say like 7 minutes or 13 minutes- some odd hour, but it would usually be another our wait. Wonder how much of it is a power thing or just being lazy.

PM'd a BL member that currently resides in Athens, Greece. He gave this report about the H scene in Athens and gave me permission to post this spot report.

Weed is the most socially accepted drug and easiest to find, though quality varies for crappy shit from Albania to quality from Kalamata as discussed before. Coke is popular, maybe to popular which kind of makes me avoid certain areas in downtown Athens, to many egos fighting for the same attention, the newly rich, or neoploutoi in Greek. Mdma, acid and ket were very popular around 97 just up until the Olympic Games when the police got to serious and clamped down on all those scenes, closing clubs and raiding events i.e. places like Oinofuta, Alsos, +Soda. Still out there, but very limited and you could say pro coke propaganda has also influenced the way people think about drugs. Heroin is the easiest drug to score, open air scene in Athens with Afghan and Nigerians selling even outside large retail stores. Don't use so do not know about the quality etc, as I know you do from your posts, but deff no drought in Athens, people shooting up and nodding in the run down parts of the city.

So the Hellenic Republic seems to have no drought. I figured that would have been a natural entry point into the EU. Now Bulgaria might be the entryway on the Southern route (Bulgarian made Captagon goes the other way to supply Saudi, UAE, and other Middle Eastern consumers of this popular drug in that region.)

So some of my theories to this drought has gone out the window (although the supply route to Greece might not be overland through Turkey/Greek border- the 2 countries aren't the best of friends- but the country of Greece has a huge coastline large shipping industry, ect... It also seems that the nouveau riche are immitating their English counterparts as far as coke as a status drug- wonder if the quality is shit (what I hear often on this forum).

But, academics aside, in practical terms it seems like the supply is there. The Chokepoint may be closer to home so maybe its a matter of new DTO's taking over the distribution. So there is atleast one place not starving in the EU. Maybe a issue of restructuring- I don't want to give false hope too much of that, the choke point could be closer to The British Isles, maybe this is artificially engineered (our gas prices shot up because of the situ in Libyia- even though we get most of our oil from Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, and Saudi- and the USA itself produces oil). But maybe the drought is comming to an end (albeit at a high price- drug cartels or oil cartels- don't know who is the biggest scumbag).

Stonehappymonday made a good point a while back- I think elements in Her majesty's and the Republics might want the people too busy chasing dope to protests the gross, egregious violation of basic human rights. My best solution is voting the bumbs out, collective protests, and reducing the size and scope of the government. Like Hitler said: "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely." The Great Western Democracies haven't turned into fascist dictatorships, more like Oligarchies. Time for the people to take back power- this is best suited for social thread but while I'm here.

Or maybe Greece would be a better holiday destination than Afganistan.
