Regarding the stability of 4-Substituted Tryptamines

I'm driving to Texas from Cali and I wanted to bring some 4-ho-met for me and my friends; but i'm kinda sketched about driving around with it in gel caps or a baggy or whatever.

Could I melt chocolate then add the 4-ho-met and freeze it to make "special chocolates"? Or would it degrade/destroy the compound?

Its the Fumerate 4-ho-met, if it helps.

i'd put it into gelcaps and stash them into an airtight container with some dessicant packs. moisture + heat is the main problem i think, so reducing both is a good start.

I think your "melt chocolate then add the 4-ho-met and freeze it" could work just fine, but be sure to be carefull with calculating the doses.
4-subbed trypts aren't THAT unstable, especialy not when they're in the form of the fumarate salt. Of cause, you'd have to eat the chocolates within a month or so.
Alternatively, a much easier method could be to buy a bottle of vodka, whisky or similar. And then just pour the 4-ho-met into the bottle. Of cause using the right calculations etc. You'll then be able to offer your freinds metocin-vodka shots

If you get pulled over by cops, I don't think they will think much about a open, half-full bottle of vodka among your stuff (unless you're under 21, that is...)

beside the real danger of accidental consumption by an unknowing person, adding psychedelics to candy gives the consumer IMHO wrong suggestions.

I would just dissolve it in some drinking water.

i would just buy the smallest capsules available i think they are size 4s, they are pretty damn small i can put at least 10 doses in 1 small amber vial. 1 small vial isn't anything, as long as the driver doesn't give any cops a reason to get yall pulled over you should be fine. if you smoke cannabis just make sure yall are aren't stinking the car up to bad just in case if you do get pulled over cops wont want to search.
