refill info PLEASE

Okie heres the deal. Got some somas the other day froma friend for my..um..backpain yeah. These were given to me in the original bottle which had my friends mothers name on it. At the bottom of the bottle *assuming I can read correctly* it says
FOUR refills on it.
This HORRIBLE of me I know, but I have been awfully tempted to call the pharmacy and try *hopefully sucessfully* to refill this perscription. I have never done ne thing like this before and I guess im here to ask..
1. How risky would doing something like this actually be? I've hadda good friend in the past get popped for filling a forged script thus the reason why im being so cautious. THE LAST THING I WANT to happen is end up getting arrested for something as petty as somas.
2. How exactly should I go about doing this eh'? Should I fill it at the same pharmacy that it was filled originally? Or should I go to a different one? I am aware that I would most deffinately make
a phone call in to refill it but whut bout picking
the script up? Should I go there myself? Have a friend do it? Or have some stranger do it instead?
Made this kinda short. If I left out info ya need please let me know. NE thoughts or idears?

A few thoughts.
First of all, are you sure this was the only bottle the woman ever got? Unless your friend's mom stopped using them, why would he give you a bottle as if she wasn't going to notice?
I have a conscious. Personally I would ask if he even knows if she's using them or not, and if not I would tell my friend to get his head checked and return them and not simply assume she can go to the doctor and get more as if the doctor isn't going to assume she's abusing them.
Then you have to wonder if the bottle your friend gave you was old and she had already got some refills and simply took some pills from her new bottle.
Also, the date they were prescribed matters. Typically after 3 months at the most a pharmacy will not refill without calling the doctor. I would not even attempt to refill it if the bottle was prescribed more than 3 months ago.
Other than that, I can't provide anymore help as I have no experience with pulling scams like this. The legal ramifications for getting caught attempting to preform any sort of prescription medication fraud are extreme and quite discouraging to me when I could just go to a drive-through ghetto and cop heroin instead, which is much less risky and the reward much greater than trying to get pharmaceutical pills.

hey i'm not saying to try it, but i have refilled a prescription for my grand-ma 2 times at wal-greens and they didn't ask for id or anything just took it p there, dropped it off and came back later with the money and then walked off, i'm not saying try it, cause i'm not for sure it'll work every time, so don't take my word on it and try it out!

In response to **LOVE**. My friends mom DID in fact stop using this med *unless I was lied to about this which I doubt*. She had surgery perhaps
five to six months ago and has since healed. So, she had no use for somas ne longer. According to my friend her mom was going to trash em and for all I know this is where the bottle was recovered from, the trash. So yeah, I have a conscience as well. There woulda been no way in hell I would've accepted these pills had my friend not told me whut she did. Her mom didnt use/need/want them ne more so I of course jumped at the opportunity.
A little more info:
*** The original script date on the bottle was on
7-12-02. So this was clearly scripted quite a bit over three months ago. Is three months a RULE that
the majority of pharmacists live by? I dont see how that is possible since she was granted FOUR refils on the script. I would assume that more then three months would be granted to refill all four? Perhaps im assuming wrong *shrugs*.
*** It could also be that I'm reading the bottle wrong. Going to try n explain this. Toward the bottom of the bottle there is a handwritten FOUR witha circle around it *assuming this was written
by the pharmacist*. On the bottle down by where it says refills it also lists the quanity of pills
scripted which was fifty. Now on the label it DOES
say no refills. However, it looks as though either
the quanity was slashed off or the no refills part was slashed off and replaced with that FOUR witha circle around it. I kinda figured it was the
refill that slashed instead of the quanity cuz I deffinately got more than just FOUR somas from my friend. I dont know. Perhaps im figuring wrong?
More questions:
*** Is there ne way that I could call a pharmacy
*anonymously of course* to find out if the refills
on this script are still good? What possible harm could come of that?
*** Worse case scenario. Spose' the pharmacist was to give my friends moms doctor a call. Perhaps
I am naive, but if this was the case I can forsee one of two things happening. Number one being, the doctor would tell the pharmacist not to refill
it. In which case I would be shit outa luck. Number two being, the doctor would okay the script
KNOWING that my friends mom may very well be still
having issues in regards to the surgery she had only five months ago. In which case I would be VERY much in luck. Um right? I feel as tho I am missing something here. I dont know.

Simply call the pharmacy and ask them if the script has any refills left. Dont make this more difficult than it really is. There's nothing sketchy about doing that.
And yes, use the same pharmacy that the script was originally filled at. If you try to goto a different pharmacy, they are gonna have to call the original pharmacy to have the script transfered anyway.

As far as I know, soma is not a schedueled drug. It is becoming more popular to abuse, however, but it is still just a muscle relaxer with nasty side effects. I doubt a pharmacist would think twice about it, so long as there are refills left go for it.

lol.. every post on this forum is basically illegal. "What's a good dosage for IV Meth" .. wait for a "I got busted while IVing meth" in the Legal Q&A...
But to help out... You should call the pharmacy up and ask them if it would be ok to bring it in and get a refill for the drug. I agree with the people above when saying, this is not sketchy at all if you call..

I worked in a pharmacy and usually when the quantity is slashed out and a number is handwritten in, it means that the patient has been given a partial amount. If it says no refills, it means no refills. The pharmacist can't just handwrite on the refill number or else the computer won't be up to date with the prescription.
If you want to check to make sure, try calling in on a refill hotline. Most pharmacies have one. You don't need to verify id or anything, just type in the RX number
