What the fuck does a quick reaction to red, like, BRIGHT red mean? No trace of orange at all... just like, RED.

Okay, you inspired me. I just crushed up a Tylenol, Aspirin, Excedrine, and Advil. The only one that reacted was Aspirin, and part of it turned quite red. The rest remained clear, but that may have been because there was too much Marquis Reagent for the amount I scraped off the aspirin.
Also: ketamine will fizz, but does not change colour. 2C-T-7 goes orange (not green, as you might expect it to).
 
While we're adding observational comments...
bubbling when conducting a test where the colour changes quickly to black / dark purple is the sign of a good sample
(aj, maybe you could expand on this one for me... I'm rather curious!)
