red eye open
disembodied
staring out of
the glass…
… i look within
savouring
sleep
neglected.
awareness changing,
charmed by visions
yearning memories past,
present unwitnessed,
future contained:-
i seek in dark
red eye beacon
warning cast in
broken intervals;
i am invited
but unwelcome.
heart ajar breath held
i waver in step
uncertain, my step
draws lines anew,
interpret directions
intend perfections,
await new grief.
abyss is staring:
red eye beckons.
silent knowing
waiting for questions
i know not to ask;
i know only this
waiting, relentless
waiting, red eye
suspended as the
world loses light.
red eye within
the glass I stand
without, unslept,
waiting red eye.
