red hash oil

I paid $25 for a tube of hash oil that I thought was in a red container. Turns out the oil is actually red. Is that something to be worried about? Do you think its fake or a different drug?

Could you make a picture of it? If it's bright red, there's definitely something else in there.
 
I saw many amberred oils on overgrow.. Maybe the plant went too long and the trichomes went amber? I'm speculating BTW.
 
yeah, it is mos def a bright red..... there is no way i can get a picture up, but I guess the best way to describe it is kind of fake movie blood red... I was wondering if there was maybe a different alcohol or something of that nature used? maybe they added a food coloring after? any ideas? hmmmm... maybe I'll try smoking a little bit off a spoon or something...
 
Well red oil from hashish is actually a dark amber/red which gets darker on prolonged exposure to light or air (different to the light amber 'honey oil' from butane extraction of plant material).

Blood red oil def. does not sound at all right - actually sounds like chilli oil (if it is, you don't want to smoke it as it will be like having pepper spray going stright into your lungs)
 
Why would someone sell you a tube of chilli oil? Have you done prior buisness with him, or did you come across as a noob which is why he would think to stiff you?
 
I've gotten reddish oil that blew me the fuck out of the water before...2 hits and I was toast! I'd give it a spin and see if it does anything, dealer should be able to at least spare a sample beforehand.
 
I've had some hash called Jolly Rancher and it was neon red hash. This stuff would blow your mind with 1-2 small hits.. So give it a try first and it could be the real deal

^^^Used to get tons of that , both honey and cherry oil in the 70's in Toronto.

been years since I've seen any though.
 
^what part of TO are you from? i love toronto so much, i want to move there. there's no hash commonly found in the GTA though, ya?
 
red/amber hash oil as pictured is just hash oil that hasn't been quite extracted to gold/honey level. I've made a lot of honey oil in my time and I found the second run through butane and whatnot leaves it a reddish colour...then it gets to extra virgin olive oilish colour then finally gold when u have run it enough times.
