Opioids rectal administration of percocet?

Hey everyone, so I have plugged Percocet a few times and I like it. Taking it orally makes me sick and CWE's suck for me for some reason, everyone recommends them but when I do it (and I believe I do it properly) it never comes out nearly as potent as when I plug or pop.

I have been reading about rectal administration of Percocet. On blue light a lot of people against this method without performing a CWE first. My question is as long as you stay under the 4g limit and around 1-1.5g at once why is this not safe? Some people say this method is not recommended because all the binders and powder can irritate the rectum. Well, I have done quiet a bit of research of this and found other sources than blue light which state that acetaminophen/APAP can be taken rectally.

There is a acetaminophen rectal suppository that is called Acephen, Feverall. ( http://www.medicinenet.com/acetaminophen-rectal_suppository/article.htm ) I believe this is liquid form but I think that if the FDA has approved APAP for rectal use up to 4g a day then I think plugging Percocet is perfectly safe as long as you stay in the limit of 4g a day? correct me if I'm wrong please. I'm wondering because I have done my own research but if I'm mistaken then I would like someone to tell me why it is bad. By the way, the crap left over after you plug will come out the next time you have a bowel movement.

Notes-I have plugged Percocet about 3 times. Each time using 3 10/325 Percocet, that's 975mg of APAP and 30mg oxycodone. I have done this within a three day period and my rectum feels fine. Still having regular bowel movement and everything seems normal.

I would not recommend anymore than this amount though as that is above the 1g at one time rule of APAP.

You can plug percocets without doing a CWE first, as long as you stay below 4g APAP a day. It's perfectly safe.

I wonder how plugging could more effective. Does it last longer, or is it one of these things that could be different as everyone reacts differently (?)

I mean, how do you even plug pills, does it work for other opiates in tablet forms to. I had always thought that its bioavailability would be much less.

Plugging is more effective for certain pills where their bioavailability is not very high such as morphine and dilaudid. For opiates such as oxycodone and hydrocodone the bioavailability is pretty much the same rectal or oral. Rectal administration does hit you quicker and sometime harder. It's pretty simple to plug pills. All you do is crush up the pill/pills, use no more than 5ml of water, I always use less, like 2mL. The pour the powder into the water.and then you use a needless syringe and suck up the pill water and up the bum it goes. And no I'm not positive on if rectal last longer or not, in my experience lately nothing last more than a couple hours unfortunately lol. I think everyone does react differently to pills because of our weight, tolerance, health, etc.

Well actually in most cases, plugging has a high bioavailability than oral, intranasal... most all routes of admin. excepty IV. Of course this is not true to every substance, but most all. But overall, Suppositories are a very efficient method of administration.

As far as how you plug pills, its simple. First, you crush up your pills, then mix with water, and draw up solution into a syringe (without needle). Then simply insert the syringe into your rectum ( while laying down) and squirt her on in :).

I have a lot of experience plugging hydro/oxycodone, and I get mixed results. Sometimes I feel like oral works better, other times I feel like plugging does. I can't help but feel like I somehow wasted some when I plug it, even though I didn't spill any whatsoever.

You are probably correct about getting mixed results. I would imagine that the amount of product that gets absorbed is going to vary.. particularly due to whether or not you have made a bowl movement before you plug or not.
