Recommendations for a heavy metal fan?

Check out lenny dee, most metal heads I knew got into electronic music through him back in the early 90's. Same with Rob Gee, someone else mentioned him I think. He also has a project now that's kind of a mixture of metal and electronic music but I can't remember the name off of the top of my head.

I am assuming you like hard and fast because you like metal.

Hardstyle

Showtek, Niosecontrollers, D-Block and S-Te-Fan, Headhunterz just to name a few

Seconded :)

If that's not hard and fast enough for you I'd suggest some Hardcore.

Angerfist, Neophyte, Amnesys, Mad Dog, Evil Activities to name a few!

My best mate loves his hair metal n shit, Pennywise whatever, and he loves dubstep now.... Go figure

Interesting, dubstep is the last thing I would have thought somebody who was into harder music would like when it comes to electronic dance music.

Hardstyle is still my guess, although I don't listen to music new (nu?) metal at all. Its only stuff from the 70s. Maybe hardstyle is better mated to that type of stuff, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, etc.

What attracts us metal heads to dubstep is the heavy bass and synths as well the rhythms of the bass wobbles which are quite similar to a lot of guitar patterns found in heavy metal.

On a different note, its been a while since I've been on Bluelight and I'm delighted to see a few more music suggestions from all of you, keep them coming :D

dance is the witches is a stomper. but i like the fire mix without the vocals better.
