Sorry if this has already been done, but I didn't see a place to post about real life ghost/spirit/alien/strange experiences. I'd rather your story be told about a sober experience. But I completely understand that this is a drug forum, so if you are going to tell us about an experience that happened due to an ingested substance. Please let us know that before telling the story so we don't go into it thinking you were sober.

Here's my story (I have multiple, but will start with this one):

I was standing in my room talking on the phone with a girl I knew who was Muslim (that is important to the story kinda). I was just bored walking around my room talking, and she was getting ready to go to the mall in like an hour.

I randomly looked in the mirror, then started staring at my face REALLY closely... And I felt like the image in the mirror was a "fake" reflection. So I asked the girl on the phone "Do you ever feel like the person in the mirror isn't you?? Like they are thinking something that you aren't?" (I have had this feeling maybe 5 times in my life, and it's a strong feeling. Like the person in the mirror has a different personality than you, you just never see it.)

When I asked her that, she replied "No, but our house is protected by all kinds of Muslim symbols and stuff, like we have this scroll on the wall in the living room with the symbol of..." I would continue describing, but I honestly don't remember the specifics of their protective "talismans". But basically her point was that their house was safe. Then she told me "Maybe the thing in the mirror in a Djinn (which is a Muslim angel or demon. Usually if it is fucking with a human, it would probably be a good guess that it was a "bad djinn".), and she told me that they are not very good at taking human form, so to check the reflection for hooves or a tail or any strange things.

I was starting to get worried, so I went to get some White Sage. And I told her "I am going to get some stuff to create a ward", but she is Muslim (and they don't like magic, only prayer) so she told me "No, don't try to do magic, that will make it worse.". But I really just wanted whatever it was to go away, and white sage smoke is meant for clearing ceremonial places of bad spirits. So I burned some White Sage and started creating a ward. The way I was "trained" to do it was to focus the colors, "black, white, black, white, black" into 4 corners of a room to create a seal of "positive and negative" energy. Then you close your eyes, and whatever you see is the spirit guarding that space. When I closed my eyes, all I could see was the after-glare of light from looking out my window. So I told the girl on the phone "Close your eyes and tell me what you see." She said "A window.". So I thought, "That must somehow be the form of the guardian".

Then she said "Get the fuck out of your room!", I didn't hesitate a second, I got the fuck out of my room, and asked questions AFTER I got to a safe place. So I went like half way across our house, and sat in a chair. I asked her what she had seen and she told me "I was standing in a room" at this point it is important that I tell you she had never been in my room, and she was able to vaguely describe it on accident. "I saw a bed in front of me" When I had been talking to her I was standing by my bedroom door, facing the bed. "a door to my right" which is where my bathroom door was, "and light coming from the left" where my window was. "But standing between me and the bed, standing directly in front of me, was a hooded figure. I couldn't see it's face but it had a big head, and I know it was looking in my direction, and I know that means it was looking at you." I freaked the fuck out. But my phone beeped. It was about to die. I had to go back into my room to get the charger.

So I walked back to my room and put my hand on the door knob. I was scared as shit, so I opened the door slowly. As I opened it, cold air rushed out. It was like 20-30 degrees colder in my room than I had left it. I freaked the fuck out, ran in my room, ripped the charger out of the wall and ran back to the room with the chair. But this time I sat in the corner next to the TV and a wall plug. I was freaking the fuck out, so the girl on the phone started telling me Muslim stories, like Mohamed split the moon in half, and travelers from miles around were documented coming into town for days, saying they had seen it even miles and miles away. Which is, she said, a far greater miracle than any preformed in the Christian Bible.

There was a piece of paper sitting in front of me, and no fan in the room. But the piece of paper was laying flat on the ground, and started to lift up slowly, as if a fan had started blowing from the ceiling and was kinda pulling a corner of it off the ground. It started lifting a little, then the piece of paper lifted half of itself off of the ground. But it didn't do it to itself, there was wind that shouldn't have been there. And as I stared at this piece of paper, scared as shit. I blinked. And in the single SPLIT second that I blinked my eyes I saw an image in my mind, almost as if it flashed in front of my eyes while they were closed. In this image I was standing in my room again, staring in the mirror closely. And standing behind me was a creature. It was extremely thin, and stood like a human with bright yellow skin. But it was taller than a human because it had a long thin neck. It's head was slightly larger than a humans, but it had no face. In place of facial features, it had what seemed to be paint. It was as if it had taken green paint on one hand, and smeared it across the bottom of its face to create the illusion of a "mouth", then covered two hands in red paint and smeared it sloppily on the top of its face to create the illusion of two eyes. It stood behind me, hovering over my shoulder, looking at me in the mirror.

I freaked the fuck out, and ran out of my house and the girl asked me if I wanted her mom to pick me up, because they were going somewhere anyways I said sure and she said they would come soon. I ran down the street and stopped at a small field that I sat in to meditate while I was high in highschool (this happened when I was in highschool). When I got to the small field there were two kids standing on the balcony of a nearby house. I told the girl on the phone that the kids on the balcony were there, because they were staring at me and not doing anything, so it was really freaking me out. I asked the girl on the phone what to do and she said to try waving at them. I waved, and they did NOTHING.

They picked me up and we went to the mall. Then after wards we went to their house and their mom did a bunch of Muslim prayers over my head, and taught me some to say. And they taught me a lot about the Quran and some stories and prayers in it that night and in following months, and I actually considered myself Islamic for a very short period. That day was crazy though.

I think what you are describing in the beginning is depersonalization, I've had it quite a few times myself and it can be pretty creepy/scary. I think it has something to do with anxiety disorders. But I must say that the human brain is very susceptible to halucinations. If your anticipating that you'll see a ghost, you will most likely find one. But I must say it all sounds like bullshit to me. I've used a ouija board, I've been in abandoned houses where friends have claimed paranormal presence. At no time in my life have I ever believed in the paranormal. You simply can't survive death in a non-physical form.

It is not just something that happens to me. 3 People have seen the hooded figure in the story (I will get into more stories eventually). And more than 10 people have had "haunted" experiences of their own in our house (we no longer live there though). And you could feel the weight of the being in my room, it felt heavy whenever you walked in. My mom, aunt, sister, and tons of friends experienced it. We started putting up symbols of protection and my mom would bring out here Ouija board every once in a while. It wasn't a mental break down, unless it was happening to everyone in my life all at once...

All I can say is that I would of loved to check it out, I have an open mind, I just haven't seen or felt anything that would cause me to believe in such things.

I understand. I am not asking you to believe me, I am just asking for others to share their experiences. Thank you for adding to the thread though :D

Google Corpsewood Manor...it just pulsates of spiritual activity. It has everything a good haunting should have. Allegations that the inhabitants were devil worshippers and even had the offical founder of Satanism visit their manor, LSD supposedly in quantities large enough to keep the town that it lies in tripping for at least a week, and of course, murder followed by a cover up of a book that was written about the event...

I have several stories of my own,but once u read about it, it will speak for itself. If anyone on here ever actually does pay it a visit, please show the two human spirits there(and the spirits of their dogs) the uttermost respect...

That's pretty cool :D

Thats a classic "trick" of remote viewing. You was in your house, she said she saw a bed.. yeah there's normally more than 1 to a household.. a door to the right.. there's pretty much always a door to he right.. and a light.. it's not like you were gonna be sitting in the dark. It's vague statements which you then apply to real life.

Ya,it can be creepy as hell up there, but I usually feel at peace. Really it depends on who I go up there with...one thing I always try to do is bring them a gift of sorts, usually smoke a joint and leave them the roach, but sometimes dont get to do that bc they are picky about who they like and allow up there without messing with them n some way...

She wasn't trying to be cool or trick me, she was telling what she had seen when she closed her eyes. I asked her to imagine something and she imagined my room. And you can say "Yeah there's mirror in all houses" Or "Just because she saw a light switch doesn't mean anything."

But in reality, just because YOU can name household things and feel like ANYONE would have said them and said them in those specific directions, does not at all verify that your THEORY (that ANYONE could guess) that is true.

If she were "trying to trick me" it would make more sense that she just ask someone what my room look like before the call. But we were just talking randomly and she was one of my good friends, so I really doubt she was trying to trick me.

I think rikola's point was much simpler than that: 'In reality,' this chick did nothing exceptional. In fact, I think the proper term for this marvelous psychic phenomenon is 'guessing stuff correctly.'

It wasn't a guess. She was shown it. Probably by that thing. 3 other people saw the same "hooded figure" in that same house. She just saw it in her mind from a distance.

Can you refute the null hypothesis of "It was just guess or basic cold reading techniques." ?

Yes. She "guessed" not only 1 thing, but 3 with no suggestions. And not only items, but directions. So SIX things. She guessed six things Bed, Door, Window, Center, Right, Left. And she guessed the correct direction for the correct items. Guessing is a 50/50 chance, not 6/6, and really the probability of her guessing it was really less than 1/6, because she could have guessed "Bed on the left, Door in the center" etc. Which makes the probability of this equation 1/9 I believe (After writing all of this I rethought it, and the odds would actually be random, because she could have chosen ANY item in the universe. A desk, a chair, a dresser, a lamp, a bean bag chair, another person, a mirror, a picture, a poster, a table. ANYTHING). And that is just amazing that she would get 9/9, or even with 50/50 odds, she should have only got 5/9 at best. (9/9 meaning she guessed the 6 correct possibilities and didn't choose the 3 wrong possibilities)

Then the room got cold as fuck for no reason.

Then later I was shown an image.

And other people including my aunt, mom and sister felt the presence of the being in the room.

Ok. I'm going to do an experiment. I'm sitting in a (mainly sciences) library at a university right now. There are people all over the place.

I predict that if I go and look at an arbitrary person I'll see: A backpack, a laptop, the laptop open to powerpoint slides about science, a notebook, and a jacket.

Guess what, I just did look at someone across the room, and indeed, all of those things where true! Holy shit! t3h magickz!

What does this have to do with anything? And you probably just made up those results off the top of your head and didn't actually look, because at least ONE person would be there without everything. It's a library in a college there should be way too many kids there for there to not be ONE without all that shit.

rangrz be prepared to be recruited by the CIA through secret messages in your junk mail box for your paranormal abilities.

I picked an arbitrary person, as in, I got up to take a piss and decided to look at the first person I walked past and test my hypothesis about their personal belongings on. I was right. Why? Because it's a simple matter of probability that these things are going to be true. They're all common things in this setting, much as a bed, a light switch, a door, a mirror, etc are common things in the setting of a house.

Shaggyfin.. i'm going to do some remote viewing on you..

I see a screen.. a TV or computer screen.. there is writing on it.. I see light.. most probably behind you.. i see a picture.. it has 1 or more people in it.. I see a door.. white or brown? As i walk into the kitchen I see.. what.. what's that? Yes.. it's a sink. There is a window above the sink. There are cupboards to the side.
