I have been addicted to oxycone for about 3 years. In the last 8 months since my father passed away, my daily consumption jumped to over 200mg a day. Tomorrow morning I will be going to a 7 day inpatient detox at a local hospital. I was just wondering if anybody could shed any light on how these programs work or what I can expect. I am very scared about going in and especially being away from my kids and wife. Thanks

You're best bet would be to check the hospitals protocol for detox. Each facility is different, but you will probably get what they call comfort meds, clonidine, and neurontin are usually prescribed, depending on your symptoms, and your lab work for liver studies and all. Best to ya.
