Looks like a MDxx reaction to me.

On EZTest mandelin, yeah, that has a reddish hue, but I've never seen a red colour on marquis I think? At least not with pure pills/crystals, that should be just grey/purple going into black, jet black without any other colour after about 5-10 seconds. Could be wrong but don't think this is a good result... Could you provide a clearer picture?
