Hi all,
Just new to this and was wondering if anyone could desperatly help with any information for suboxzone withdrawel cold turkey. Got a couple of little things to try and help but dont know that Vals, and Maxalon are really helping? Mind you the other half has ended up in hospital for the past three days, because the doctor is in Melbourne and cant pick up her phone and doesnt give a shit about her patients. She knew the whole time what was going on sending texts, she was just too busy trying to make as much money as she could and a phone call puts a stop to that!! Any advice would be great, its been seven days nearly eight days and I just dont see the point of travelling two hours, staying overnight, having to wait hours upon hours for the doctor with a five year old child all for the doctor to put me back on and tapper down. Would it really be worth it?? Not to mention the doctor had been told numerous times my partner and I dont work at the moment we rent then have gas, electricity, phone and internet. Then she still wants us to pay $50 per week each at the chemist and it costs us at least $100 every three to four weeks to go see her, so where are we supposed to get/have money for food. Cant not feed a five year old child, thats called ABUSE!!!! (Suprise suprise, we arent the luckey ones that can work and still be on the program. And then what happens if you start work and finishe\ by the time the chemist is shut. I dont want to be tied to any on these rip off money hungry people anymore. Hoping against hope someone can offer me some advice alternative, tell me their story, tell me what they have tried. I'm really not interested in taking any other addictive prescribed medicines, I am begining to not trust anything they say. I am trying a different doctor on Friday who does not do these programs and am hoping against hope that he maybe able to offer some solution. And isn't that funny, since being on the suboxzone I am grossly underweight, under my BMI a fair bit, so I saw this doctor that I am seeing on friday cos last time I saw him my other doctor was away. I thought I would test the waters with the not normal doctor and asked about the weight thing, by the way I didnt tell him I was on the suby program, but to my absolute amazment he was trying to help, offering me solutions to help get my BMI up ect, So why does the actually program doctor not give too shits, obviously she thinks we still use. And thats one big thing I cant understand those doctors know when you go into there offices/appointment they should well and truly be able to pick who is sitting there off there guts. And who's clean especially in the doctors office. I want this doctor gone she doesnt deserve to practice, and yet hows that fair if I try and do something about her, and then it's not fair on the ones that really do want a clean life.
So confused, confusing, it all does your head in....
Please someone any advice would be fantastic!!
Thanks

As this is your intro I will say Welcome to Bluelight :)
Not sure about your qestion although I will tell you to have a look around Other Drugs or Basic Drug Discussion for a comprehensive look at suboxone. If you can't find what you are looking for than feel free to ask this question in one of those forums.

i think you would find some solace and info in The Dark Side (TDS). it is where Bluelighters go to discuss
"general advice about psychological and emotional problems resulting from drug use/abuse, mental health, and other every day issues."
you will find the words in quotes under the TDS forum link. there is a great crew there...lots of ppl who can help. ppl who have been down and out and barely hanging on like you are.

also check out Australian Drug discussion. it is not all drug talk-there are serious threads there too. i am sorry for everything you are going through. i feel for you...i truly do.
i hope you will check out the links i have provided and that you keep us up to date. there are so many ppl her who are willing to help and truly love what they do here. if you have any questions, just ask a moderator. either here or in TDS or in Aussie drug discussion..
you are in the right place-i promise you. i am sending much peace, love and healing energy your way. please know that this too will pass. hang in there.

MUCH PEACE AND LOVE............................skillz

hey glitter and welcome...
suboxone withdraws are the worst I've heard. there are things that will help and if you use the search function there are many many threads and posts about withdraw from opiate(and some specifically about subs)...

This is a wonderful site with so much information you just got to look a little...

why would going back to the doctor so you can taper not be worth it...cuz you cant get high??? At least you wont be as sick ,and ive had alot of friends in real life and people on here have really easy/successful withdraws doing a suboxone tape. ive got off oxy ct a cpl times so i know what kind of hell youre going thru. so since you r so already far along you might just wanna ride it out. most of the physical symptoms should be over after two weeks and you could be feeling pretty normal in bout six weeks. that is if you excercise and eat right. just little bit of info, but you can find so much more on this site.

I hope you keep coming back drugs and this site are a beautiful combo!:D
