Yes, I can confirm Pheobarbitone is precribed fro benzo withdrawral, especially in newborns.

Probably can be, just wouldn't be covered under the PBS.

Try being addicted to a few points of diazepam a day downed with 5 or so nitraz, bottle of temaz, 30 clonaz 2mg, 10-20mg xanax, 10 roofies.. and 20-30 standard drinks and wonder why you arwe still waking up 2 hours later.. insanity

Which barbiturate? And when was that? As of the time I posted that, phenobarbital was only approved on the PBS for epilepsy.

You can tell if your script is PBS approved if, when you sign the slip the pharmacy keeps, the sticker on it says 'S # $xx.xx'.

Where # is just a number. If it is under a concession there will be a C next to the S, if it is an authority script there will be an A on there too.
