I have Oxycodone 10MG IR. Tablets That I get prescribed. I usually take my daily dose all at once (30-40MG) and 2MG Of Xanax but i was wondering if I should re-dose in about 6 hours. would I feel it as much and get the same high? or would it not effect me as well?

6 hours is definitely a sufficient amount of time. The longer you wait to re-dose, the stronger it will hit you recreationally, so if that's what you're looking for than the longer the better, but 6 hours is a pretty good amount of time.

You mean will you get the same sense of euphoria/high from oxycodone if you redose another 30-40mg six hours after your last 30-40mg? You probably will. It might be a bit less or a bit more intense (depending on the speed of your metabolism and various other factors), but What's for sure is that re-dosing is a bad idea, especially with opiates and benzo's. while you likely have a physical dependence anyway as you take the oxy everyday, your habit is pretty light. If you start using opiates multiple times a day your tolerance will increase faster, your drugs will run through your system faster, and you can end up with a really nasty habit where you're fighting off withdrawal every six or seven hours. Even of you're the type of person that generally has good self control over their behavior it's still just not worth risking.

Wait till tomorrow, dosing once a day as prescribed will allow you to get the most out of the amount of oxy your prescribed per day anyway, therapeutically and recreationally. If you want to redose because of pain then try talking to your doctor about increasing you're painkillers.

Thanks And I'm aware of Mixing Benzos with Opiates. I have to take Xanax 4 times a day because of my anxiety and severe panic attacks. The only side effect I get from the combo of opiates and benzos is nodding off alot more than i would with just taking oxycodone or hydrocodone. I get both Lortab 7.5/500 and Oxycodone IR. 10MG. Today I'm taking Lortab. The Highs are similar. But I have work today and I feel like Hydro doesn't make me as sleepy. Thanks for you're reply

Yeh man just be carefull with them lortabs that got 500mg acet. Dnt dose that like ya would with oxy cuz too much of that shit an yer liver will shut down.

But yeah after 6 hrs yer good to get high again. Its just that doin this everyday will skyrocket ya tollernce.

Hello 96chanz!

Wow, having such a steady supply of pharma-grade opies is both a blessing and a curse. It's nice for obvious reasons, like not having to score and wait for the dealer and be involved in ''criminal'' activities daily, always knowing exactly what's in your dope and how much, etc. It's not so good if you want to avoid physical addiction tho, obviously.

Can I ask you if you have a terminal disease or a chronic, steadily deteriorating condition warranting that kind of pain management? If it's the case, I would follow the advice of Znegative and talk to my doc about increasing the painkillers. If not, well, maybe you could think about exercising some kind of self-control in order to avoid physical addiction as much as possible AND maximize your fun...

Paradoxically, it's always when I had a dependable supply of quality narcotics that I managed to control my use better. It's so easy to ween yourself slowly when you get as much as you want... It's like, knowing that I can take more whenever I wish has a tranquilizing effect on me, I can wait longer for my next dose lol. And I want my next dose to be effective as well as recreational... Redosing multiple times a day will ruin your fun in the SHORT term man. You won't feel euphoric at all anymore, in fact the opies will induce a bad depression that will only be alleviated for a few minutes each time you redose. Of course you know that, sorry for mentioning it. (Sure don't want to be judgmental.. shit I did abuse my painkillers like a motherfucker in the past.)

That was my harm-reduction 2 cents buddy. It may be totally irrelevant for your case... I wish you a great weekend!

After reading lots of post i feel Im in no danger. But, after two years of neck, shoulder and back pain from a car wreck. I started taking 5 mg oxycodone pills. Only thing is, i started blowing aka snorting 2 or 3 at a time a couple times a day. I will use them a couple days and stop anywhere from a week to a couple of weeks. I also take 2mg of clonazapam a day. What kinda of limitations should i use? And how much is dangerous? I have no serious side effects just itchy and get tired sometimes.

I bet you wont feel it nearly as much. try waiting 10 hours just to be sure. and what roa are you using? if your taking it orally switching it up could help. when I used to shoot them if I wanted to feel it more after shooting some I would smoke one. so maybe try snorting, rectal, smoking, whatever. if your strictly an oral user then stick to that, but if snort em too then switching it up wont hurt.

I don't feel a repeat dose of oral oxy NEARLY as much if I only wait 6 hours or so. If I wait until the next morning it seems to increase in effectiveness a lot. My best dose is always the first of the day. However, some people say that if you wait a short amount of time so there is still residual drugs from your first dose in your system, the repeat dose will be stronger. It depends on you and your body chemistry I guess.

However, if you're taking your whole daily dose at once, I wouldn't start redosing six hours later. Before you know it you'll be doing it at your original time, then six hours later, then another six....until your tolerance has increased drastically and your scripted dose isn't close to enough. Your best bet is to always take as prescribed, but if you'd rather take your whole daily allotment at once I don't see anything wrong with that, in fact that's what I tend to do. If you feel it's not holding you over, try splitting it into two doses but don't go over what you're scripted per day.

Heres SOME of my medical conditions. I have Spondylolisthesis, Scoliosis, fractured bones, chipped bones, muscle spasms, located in my lower back Probably more problems too. Thanks for the advice. Yes I agree about the redosing in the same day. You don't get nearly as high. I figured the best way to take my pain killers is in the morning. I feel like I get the best high then. and I'm not taking a big dose twice in one day. for one i can tell it puts my opiate tolerance up. I'd rather just get high for about 2-4 hours then. And I also take Xanax with them and it makes they high so much better. I'm only 16 nearly 17 and have been on opiates since I was 11. And yes they've always been prescribed from a doctor.
