Rational Suicide: Please help me save my friend!

Nietzsche will indeed keep him busy...

he seems to be looking for something to relate and hold onto,
Nietzsche can do this, and point to many other directions along the way.
id start reading Nietzsche myself, to see where he is coming from and be able to relate, and learn quit a bit at the same time.

Thats very true. He feels like he don't belong. He told me that according to a team of psychiatrists and neuropsychiatrists, his iq is top 0.009%. Severe ADD makes it impossible for him to use that in school and get the social recognition I think he so desperatly crave. Thinkin about all that, I do understand a bit why he feels so lonely all the time.

I do fear that his sudden interest in philosophy can go as quickly as it came. Most of it is books and ADD dont like books :(

this is perfect then, maybe, Nietzsche had some very important, and simply-ingenious and true ways of 'viewing' the feeling of being lonely.

Edit:
he will have to let go of his ::SuperMan::
and be humble, accept and realize though.

interesting that the answer to (hopefully) preventing his suicide was already in the title of this thread.
"rational suicide:" hence appeal to his rationality(i.e. philosophy).
also Nietzsche is exactly whom i was thinking of when i wrote classic philosophies, though i figured that it would be better to start with the Greeks and work your way chronologically(not necessary at all though)
