Rap battles and REAL freestyles [NO WRITTENS ALLOWED]

Blind fury is legit genius dude, and almost nobody knows about him

he's blind and just spends all day listening to rap and freestyling

honestly I think he may be the most talented freestyler of all time... and you know he don't write shit because he literally can't

I need to work on my speed and flow but this is strait on the beat no pre recordings

So this must be the place, no phone or someone holding text s.
Smooth by the addition of the other musician vs. his O.G. 'Leng'.

A side spin of the O.G., O.G. 'Skeng' [with Flowdan & the BUG].

servin up the classics

"got you locked in a cellar, with your skeletons showin'
developing anorexia, while I'm standin next to ya
eatin' a 4 course meal watching you starve to death
with an IV in your vein feeding you liquid darvocet"

the video went out! --- I accuse that of being a cypher as well and if you give me proper time I am pretty sure I catch him using it again. (although I could be wrong I dont consider it a large accusation)

Sage francis V Brother Ali was an all time classic. ( I find it so tough to tell a true off the dome freestyle from a 'cypher' )
I've heard of him, I've been watching a lot of these acapella battles recently. I never really liked them (I never understood why rap battles with actual beats playing went out of style???? puzzles me). It seemed like it turned into a comedy event vs music. Nothing will ever beat when you diss someone like they do in these videos but you do it to a BEAT. Hits 10x harder to a beat vs acapella.
When it comes to the acapella battles I'm a huge fan of The Saurus and a bunch of other people but I think The Saurus is #1

That's the thing, though, about these new "rap battles". It's not rap, it's spoken word battles. IDK man I will always prefer battles over a beat like real rap battles
I have a theory on this, it is simply EASIER to put together complex rhymes acapella than to a metronome. I agree there is a clear distinction and one is more 'off the top with flow spoken word?' to me as well. Tough to judge flow and deliver with no beat though.

THIS WAS MY PROBLEM lol writing rap since I was 14 but only at about 32 got to the metronome and BPM. Suprise none of what I wrote really fit to any beats, all off centered bars. (Still workin on that lmao)

i rap all different combos of "dookie dog doo on the floor you want more.." , "i got the shit you want it for a bit, it's mad dog doo" at my pitbulls. the male pitbull is more interested. the female rot/pitbull mix doesn't have time for my shit. lol. i can rap for a little bit with some rhymes about dogs pooping... i also have a grunge song "i pooped on the water" about how dogs can't poop in toylet bowls. "i pooped on the water. let it burn. let it burn." sung kind of like eddie veddar.

i rap in my dreams sometimes too.. i get pissed at people and go off. it's all real raps with actual words, but i can't remember any of them when i wake up.

i had a freestyle section on my you tube too, but i'd loose track of what i was saying and my raps got mumbled together maybe cause i'm not physical quick enough to spit out what i'm thinking and i couldn't really pick up a lot of good stuff. there was a lot of really offensive stuff that i'm surprised made it to you tube. i deleted the stuff after a while cause there was other stuff i didn't want my you tube to get deleted over some stupid rap stuff... i was rapping over all boom bap beats instrumentals they have on you tube and all other you tube instrumentals i could find.. i just recorded the computer's you tube being played through my guitar amp and then recorded with a camera, and it sounded pretty awesome. it cut out some of the bass, but was pretty cool and something different to hear with the beats being played through the wrong type of speaker.

i realized after posting this that this isn't the thread for blue lighters writing free styles, that might've been in the longue. i remember a few people were posting stuff. i thought this was that thread and not a video one.

but posting got me thinking of different raps... the marijuana dispensary that is my favorite is a 4 mile walk from the place i live now and where i'm gonna be moving, so walking there and back is 8 miles.. i thought of this cool chorus for a rap last night it was repeating stuff about 8 mile walk like eminem, 8 mile walk with a sore back again, or something, but that wasn't it. i remember it was kind of like some of those reggae rappers that go hardcore in my head. i don't even know the names of any of them... i have a pretty bad back. i tried walking to the dispensary a few weeks ago, and on the way back i was really feeling the nerve damage. when i got home and slept it off, i felt fine. it didn't really injure me anymore, but 8 mile walk is pretty rough for me.

i forgot it by the time i was upstairs to record it or write it down.. if i could remember it, i'd probably post on the internet looking for some one to make a beat cause i'm not good with a lot of styles of beats... would've been cool. i think it'd be funny to get a speaker and walk to the dispensary and back rapping it the whole time. i like to do stuff like the great gonzo from the original muppets.

^^^^^^the rapper in my head might be like in the song "i like to move it move it" from the 90's... lol... i dunno if that's really reggae, but that'll give some idea of the vibe i'm talking about if anybody thinks that's funny.

yea there is definitely a drop 4 bar (I hope semi freestyle) cypher type deal. (What you should do is get a fairly normal BPM beat for those of us (me) who are bar-tarderd/challenged.) Pretty sure I been stinkin it up the last couple days uhh not posting drunk surely. It needs fresh blood too *EDIT* It is in the "words" forum.
