Raindrops fall outside my window, there’s nothing out there but the wind.
Cold and frosty as it blows by leaving ice and snowflakes far behind.
There’s no where to go while it pours down, spoiling a perfect day.
A day that would have been full of laughter, joy and good times,
Spoiled by rainy Saturday.
Rain clouds block my vision, all I see is dark grey skies.
The icy wind seems to whisper, laughing at us now,
As we stare out of our windows looking at rainy Saturday.
Our friends are scattered far apart we cannot reach them now, our loved ones far from us hidden by the sounds of hailstorms and thunder reaching far across the sky.
The butterfly has flapped its wings, we get hurricanes in return. The gods have reached down from the heavens unleashed the fury of the world. We are sundered from all those we love by rainy Saturday.
Rain clouds start to break apart, the sun comes shining through.
It sees a clean and sparkling world, a world began anew.
The icy wind is all blown out, its warmer cousin smiles, the gentle feel of sea breezes floating through the skies. People venture from their homes to smell the sweet warm air.
Saturday is blown away and Sunday is now here.
Rain clouds have been chased away all I see is bright blue skies.
The winds whisper joyous words and chase us all outside.
Where children play and forget all about rainy Saturday.
