Waiting for that rainy day,
A paradoxical irony of waiting
For a chance to take a chance,
Yesterday's optimism is gone,
And today's forecast is nothing,
But blue skies and sunshine,
With much of the same,
Expected tomorrow.

Hide away all your penny's
Along with all your dreams,
Opportunity knocks but once,
I can hear a sound at the door,
If you don't take your chance now,
A rainy day might finally come,
Only for you to realise,
that is is raining...
