A few days ago, I ran out of weed. I had been smoking it every single day for about 3 weeks. I was pretty upset, and I couldn't stop thinking about it. I had cravings for it, but they weren't that strong. They lasted for a day or two. Now, I'm fine.
Doing it everyday is not a really huge problem. Over the 3 week period, I got straight A's on all my tests and didn't have any problems with my family or friends. Of course, I'm in 10th grade, so I have fewer responsibilities than most people.
The only real problems with smoking everyday are:
1. If you do it for a long time, you may get throat or lung damage. Using a vaporizer or eating it eliminates this threat. But then again, a joint equals a few cigarettes. If you smoke a joint everyday, that's about a pack of cigarettes a week. Not exactly the same, not incredibly harmful, but not a habit you want to pick up.
2. Your tolerance will go up. It happened to me. On the first day of the 3 weeks, I smoked very little (.25 grams) and got completely blazed. At the end, I smoked 2 grams and didn't get as high as my first time. So not only were my highs becoming boring, they were getting extremely expensive.
I would say only use it every 3 days or so, to keep your tolerance down.
Also, if you take a break, your first smoke is really good. I took a year long break, smoked and it was amazing.
