I have been off of cigs for over 3 months now, and had very little temptation to smoke again.

until tonight. Against my better judgment and progress I am almost certain than Ill be smoking a square before i fall asleep

is it delusional for to think i can have just one and quit again?
I remember what happened the last time i said ill only smoke one, but i was 13 and feel i have gained alot of willpower since then.

advice? suggestions? substitutions?

just wish i had some bud....

I have a brother who smoked for 18 years, and nothing worked for him. Then he tried these e-cigs that are just vapor and no tar or any harmful things. He has been cig free for over 2 months. Your cravings are normal...he says he still has them once or twice a week. Just please please DON'T SMOKE a cig. As a cig smoker I want you to succeed to give me hope. Just remember.....there is no such thing as one cig to a smoker.

thats its all I needed.
I'm not going to smoke tonight, I've come too far its not worth it.

Damn amphetamine brings out my addictive personality

thank you and good luck

I quit five years ago using nictine lozenges. Now I prefer the lozenges to cigs. I don't smoke anymore.

I dunno if it's just me, but switching to american spirits definitely helped curb the habit. The lack of additives did make me feel pretty unpleasant, a pseudo-withdrawal, and I don't feel much of a need to smoke as much due to how slow it burns. I've heard of success stories by switching to american spirits then e-cigs for tapering.

Just remember. Every time you try to quit, be serious about it. The more you quit and take up the habit again, the more likely the lungs are to just give up on trying to heal themselves.
