Bupe Quick taper with suboxone

Hi there, I have a good friend who is planning on stopping a hydromorphone habit tomorrow. He has gotten his hands on about 30 2mg suboxone and plans on only taking a couple to get through the 2-3 days of withdrawal he usually goes through. He said he’s done this once before coming off of Oxy and it worked really well. I’m just scared that when he doesn’t take another suboxone after the 3rd day he will just end up in withdrawal from that and it’ll be a million times worse. Has anyone had success doing it this way?
