Quick question

sold in hardware stores as muriatic acid, used for driveway cleaner and as a flux for soldering tin

And of course for resaltifying crack (or at least it can be) and all sorts of other chemical things. Essentially it is just a strong acid and is used a such (the chlorine part is rairly significant).

From "All Your Chemistry Questions Answered"
"Uses of hydrochloric acid include scale removal in boilers and heat exchangers; neutralization of basic solutions; metals and general cleaning, laboratory procedures, and food processing."
Oh yeah, for burning human flesh.. like if you have a body and you don't want to have the body anymore you can get a 55 large glass tub and fill it with HCl, then dump the body in it and if the molarity is high enough it will eat away most of the body, you can then go pour the acid down the sewer and dump the bones in the woods!

Sulphuric acid is WAY better at dissolving human bodies- just that sort of trivia you come across in chem classes...
