ok this is probably gonna be closed but it's worth a try. My grandfather had been taking a few pills for broken bones in his back but now that the bone has mended and he's better he has alot of left over pills... some of which are painkillers. How do I use rxlist.com to find out which of them are painkillers and what not?? Do I just type what is imprinted on the pill but IDK which search to use from there.... can someone help me out ? I don't wanna snatch a pill for his blood pressure instead of a painkiller!

the pills are in a bottle ...right!??
if they are just read the bottle it would say somthin like ...
HYDROCODONE(VICODEN)
OXYCODONE(PERCACET)
IF YOUR LUCKY IT MIGHT SAY "OXYCONTIN"(if it just happens to be this make sure ya know what dose they are and how much to take before indulge'n in them ...K)...
if there is no bottle (but i dont know why there wouldnt be one)....got to rxlist.com..scroll down to advanced search and then scroll down to ID -IMPRINT CODE(or whatever it says)

To do a search for the monograms on pills do an advanced search, there is a link for it right on the home rxlist page. Also, come on, don't steal someones medication, not blood.... Go break into your neighbors and steal theirs.
