quick question re: time/addiction

was sober for 64 days off a 3 year opiate daze. I have been taking "roxy's" for the last 7 days and the two days before that I took percs. I Took 40mg's (percs) once a day for two days......then for 7 days I only took 75mg's of roxy a day (insuflation and orally).

The question is.........Am I addicted again? It's been 17hours since I dosed and I dont feel bad at all. what im wondering is..... will I need a sub and if Im addicted? Sadly, I can't afford to keep up with the pace roxy's require and wish I would not have given in to temptation. I was just getting back to normal after 64 days, but it is what it is....

Any help would be appreciated.
 
This is a topic that seems to offer conflicting reports. But all people seem to agree that the use of opiates, after a serious habit, needs much less time and much lower doses to get out of control.

I think it's significant that you're feeling ok at 17 hours, and this might indicate that you're going to be ok. But it would be really stupid to take this binge any further; a few more days and you will almost certainly be back at square one.
 
Hey hurtin, as seuss said, if you're feeling okay after 17 hours, it sounds like you're clear of any major withdrawals or possible addiction.

But please, STOP NOW. Yes, it is what it is, just a relapse. You had a bit of fun, but that doesn't mean you have to continue. Like you said, you can't afford the roxies anyway, do yourself a favour and get back on the sober wagon while you can. You worked hard at your sobriety before, so just get back on track and keep going <3
 
i plan to get back on the horse here.....i even quit smoking for about 8 weeks (never gone tha long since i started) and went strait back to that too. when it rains it pours. thanks for the input folks. I agree. However, i took a 4mg sub to be safe and feel splendid.....usually i would just feel normal. tomorrow cold turkey from here on out. cant get back into this. had a good holiday weekend and back to the real world. I have WAY too much to lose if I lose control again.

anymore feedback would also be greatly appreciated. what would i do without bluelight.
 
Sounds like you are on the right track but it's easy to make impulsive and poor decisions while on AND coming off drugs. I definately would have avoided the sub if you already felt alright without it. It is easy to set oneself up for failure trying to "help" yourself out. Best of luck to you my friend! :)
