i recently ordered a batch of RC's, among them 4-FA. i've been taking venlafaxine ~9 months now at a dose of 300mgs a day. now i know that venlafaxine pretty much prohibits any euphoria forming from MDMA, my question being if it'll be the same with the 4-FA, as it also from my understanding derives it's pleasant effects from release of serotonin. also how long would i have to go off the venlafaxine to get a good rush going from MDMA again?

Look up the half life on wikipedia, 2 to 3 weeks is a good washout for most people.

Venlafaxine will block 4-FA too.

4-FA is more of a straight-up amphetamine than an entactogen... You will most likely still notice stimulation, just not as much, and maybe not as much euphoria.

Don't stop taking psychiatric medication just to get high.

okay thanks for the replies. yes, yes it probably is a shitty idea to get off the venlafaxine just to get fucked up, however i've been thinking about dropping the venlafaxine in favor of selegiline. i haven't found any data yet if low doses of selegiline can be taken in combination with a snri. the venlafaxine is supposed to help against my anxiety and panic disorder, yet so far the only substances i've encountered that are effective for that are benzodiazepines.
