I am on 20mg oxycontin
and ran out before I should have ;)
so I am going to see my doc and he mentioned this before
I was just wondering if it is cross tolerant with oxy
I do have quite a tolerance, so I wonder how to start wiith MS
is it as euphoric as oxy, and can I break the time release the same way
I do about 80mg of oxy per day, what dosage should I start MS contin with?

Ps . I can get 40mg of oxy instead, but want a new type of high, so if there is no euphoria involved I will take the oxy......
ps I dont use needles, so i am talking about mostly through pill form
 
I don't have all that much experience with MS Contin, but I did come into three 30mg MS Contins last month. I found they were rather anti-climatic. I scraped the outside layer off, crushed one up and railed it. It gave a slight euphoria, and it pinned my pupils for about 5 hours, which was long after the high wore off. The next time, I combined the other two and got a slightly better high, but in the end I found these to be rather disappointing. I get a much better high off 20mg of oxycodone (percocet).
 
Personally I don't enjoy morphine as much as oxycodone - and MS Contins are NOT like OxyContin in the sense you can break them up and you have a pile of powder ready to snort .. but to each his own - for dosing consider morphine sulphate to be about 1.5x the strength of oxycodone..
 
Cheeky.. you'll probably enjoy OxyContin much more than MSContin.
I had tried morphine in the past and found it to be an unpleasant high. This summer a friend had quite a few MSContin 60's. He hadn't tried them yet and had been misinformed that they were 30mgs and some sort of instant release form (he was wrecked on Demerol when he obtained them, that's how he easily made the mistake).
At any rate, I took two without crushing them. I had a nice night. Went to sleep. In the morning I woke up more fucked up than I had been the entire night and I ended up puking at work.
I tried them several more times, taking 120mgs and crushing them up. The high isn't really euphoric. It mostly just has you layed out unable to do much.
 
You shouldn't have complained about oxycodone.. you NEVER complain about oxycodone - it didn't do anything wrong to you, it has only been there for you as a friend and comfort durring hard times.. you can convey the point that "it's not strong" enough but you have to be a little slicker.. if you're an established bluelighter (i.e. not a greenlighter puke or someone we don't know) then you can apply for access to Other Drugs Underground where we have an entire forum on scripting...
 
wow thats extremely bad news, refused oxy and given ms contin, well I suppose you could always go back after afew days and say that the ms contin is not as effective as the oxy was and hopefully get more oxycontin, I wish you the best of luck.
 
The day I trade an OC in for an MS.
MS leaves you with stomach pains, a clouded -almost- good feeling, and puke puke puke in the morning! ICK!
OC leaves you with warm, warmmm, warmmmmmy!
