Opioids Questions on Heroin

Hi guys, I have a question, well 2 questions really but I will just list them A. and B. So I have been doing heroin/oxycontin for about 2 years or so right now but just rescently when IV'ing the big H I noticed that afterwards I turn bright red for about 10 minutes, well not super sun burn red but kind of light and blotchy (I don't get it everytime but just a few), anyone know what that is?

B. I have a vein that I usually hit in my right arm in the elbow joint, whenever I shoot into that one vein it has a slight burning sensation where the fluied is going in, I hit in all sorts of veins on my arm to mix it up but this one vein I get a small burning sensation from what seems like the actual inside of the vein itself. Have no clue what the deal is when it happens every once and a while. It only comes from that particular vein once every 3-4 times I use.
 
I'd have to say that your skin turning red and blotchy for a few minutes is a histamine reaction to either the dope or something it is cut with. I've had it happen a couple times myself and it was completely gone with in 10-15 minutes.
 
A. Histamine recation try taking an antihistamine
B. I think ur missing some or your partially in the vein.
 
A. Histamine reaction, pop an anti-histamine (loratadine, diphenhydramine, hydroxyzine)
B. It could be that the vein is starting to close up and that the pressure of injection creates the unpleasant feeling, though its probably that you just missed the vein, cause the way you describe it sounds exactly like it feels when I miss my H.
