So last night i took 1mg of suboxone it was fun and wore off in a few hours like 4-6 and then i took another 1mg now ive been high over 24 hours even when i wake up and fall back to sleep i have SPLITTING migraine all day i felt high and hungover, does just taking the 1mg keep these withdraw hangover symptoms from happened my friend did the same and felt fine and had a normal day off one 1mg , i was stupid to take a double dose when my high wore off. we have no tolerance to opiates, i really feel like i cant handle the whole 24 hour high migraine stuff again, would i be safe on the 1mg dose again in a few days without the vomiting and headache like my buddy didnt experience

tolerance builds very quickly with this, try snorting like an 1/8 of one of those tabs (i'm guessing you're putting it under ya tongue) and see how you get on. If you are snorting already then leave 72 hours in between dosing to try to avoid dependency and high dosing issues. So yes safe on 1 mg in a few days, but make sure it's a few days at least buddy

that didnt answer any of my questions, my question is howcome i took 1mg an it lasted 4 hours then i took another 1mg and it lasted 24 hours and im using the film strips, can someone address these questions above ive made a few threads about this drug but i have NEW questions so no bother in saying im reposting anything, different thread and topics same drug... 1st grade people u guys cmon.

You are hungover from taking too high of a dose. Just because you didn't feel the suboxone that much after 4 hours doesn't mean it wore off. It has a very long half-life, so the second dose you took added to the original dose. Also, in my experience the effects from suboxone can come and go in waves, so maybe you were at the trough when you re-dosed, so when the original 1mg hit you again there was the other 1mg being added to that.

The hangover/headache is common with suboxone, especially if you aren't that experienced with it. When it has happened to me I just took some ibuprofen and drank a few glasses of water. It helps a little, but the headache didn't fully go away until I woke up the following day.

Maybe you thought the high wore off, but you still had a lot of the buprenorphine in your system when you took the extra 1 mg. The buprenorphine has a half life of appx 20-72 hours. And the difference between 1 and 2 mg could easily make you go from feeling good to feeling sick. If you are just using them recreationally and have little to no opioid tolerance, then 2 mg will get you good(ROA also has to be factored in). I beleive equivalency charts say it is about 15-20x/mg stronger than oxycodone. I have also felt.

Let me tell you I've made the same mistake. Took 4 mg sublingual one night and the next morning sniffed 2 more mg (which can be 2x as strong). I felt very sick from that, was hypotensive and was the only time I was legitimately scared for my safety due to using narcotics.

I also concur about the 4-6 hours of "feeling high". After that it does seem to leave you in a bit of a haze. For me I get a little bit of dizziness and just off. It definitely isn't recreationally enjoyable after that point, but the chemicals are still strongly affecting your opiate receptors. Hope that gave you a bit of an idea about those tricky little pills.

Got ahead of your tolerance for bupe. Splitting headache is the most obvious and guarantes dosing TOO high.

As said before, "less is more" with bupe.
