Hi, I have a pre- employment drug test tomorrow and I am 95% sure that it will be a basic 5 panel. I have read many conflicting messages regarding oxycodone showing up as an opiate, and that's not really what my main question is about (although it would be superb if you can verify that I shouldnt even worry about oxycodone showing up).

first)- I was prescribed 30, 10 mg oxycodone ir on 3/20/2014 and the test will be on 4/28/2014.. will that prescription still be ok to put down for prescribed medications? I took one 10mg tablet on saturday, it's going to be roughly 40 hours prior to the test being taken

second)- If I put medications on my drug test form do they divulge that to my potential employer?

thanks for the help!

awesome and would since that script was from 38 days ago will that still suffice?

I know that at Rite Aid (pharmacy chain here), they sell 1-12 panel cup tests. The 7 panel picks up oxy, which makes me believe that oxycodone will not show up in a 5 panel test, but I could be wrong.

Secondly, 2 years ago I popped positive for benzos on a drug test. The 14 page application never asked if I was on any meds, and I had a prescription. They did not hire me, and were assholes about telling me what I came up positive for.

Call me paranoid, but in this day and age I do not believe for a second anything is truly confidential, despite laws or policies. I would think you'd be okay if you have a valid and recent prescription, but you wont know until it's said and done. gl. and gl with proving you werent hired due to a positive drug test, it would be almost impossible. all the company would have to do is hire someone with similar or better skills/experience than you and your lawsuit is dead in the water.
