Hey guys im going to be having surgery on my foot the day after i will be indulging on some mdma.
My question is if i tell the anesthesiologist that i have consumed mdma the day before will they cancel and move my surgery to a later date, would i be better of not mentioning it.
Anyone had any experience with this?

What type of anesthesia will he be using?

If you are simply going to be under a light sedative (awake), it's not likely a big issue, but it's unwise to use any drugs within 2 weeks of surgery because of how it can effect numerous factors. It's probably best to hold off for your own safety.

Not sure i will be out for awhile tho i have a broken bone that needs to be put back in place.

Good to know you made it alright Kronicc, were you under general anesthesia for this?

I don't see a waking surgery being a direct conflict with recent MDMA use.

Cheers for the input, just gave the hospital a call to see what the go is and turns out its just an appointment to discuss the surgery which could turn into going under they were unsure.
I mite try change it to the week after plan on having a pretty big one.

@Bsiren, yeah I was under general knocked out for 2 hours. In fact I did speak to the anaestethisists (fuck that word is as hard to spell as it is to say) nurse about it, which she said wouldn't do anything, and then we had a few minus chat about ecstasy and what pills they were. Was hilarious.

I would always advise against taking MDMA before surgery etc - just the thought of being on a comedown and then adding physical pain from the recovery just seems like self abuse.

I second Bearlove's opinion.

The real question to me is WHY you aren't willing to wait?
You can ALWAYS roll later, right?

Did you know that massive release of cortisol causes a loss in immune function?
If this is minor surgery I wouldn't be concerned, but any MAJOR surgery would definitely be a risk.

A local anesthetic should be safe, but anything that affects your blood-pressure is important.
Mentioning it to a podiatrist won't hurt.
They will probably laugh - they cannot report you even if you are a minor.
