I have a complete ez tester and I tested several pills with it. I am unsure because with some pills it will come up redish indicating a speed like substance with the regular test, so I furthered my tests with the Simons and it turned a blue to indicated a Mdxx substance. My question was that it says on the first test if it turns out red there is no mdxx in your pills but the Simons contradicts that. Im assuming the Simons, Ropadope are just to further break down what else is in the pills?

Sorry Im new to these testers. Plus I also have a hard time getting drops outta the bottles especially the buffer. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks

I would suggest first observing a few reactions of known MDMA pills/ powder as a bit of a reference.

The red colour may in fact be a dark purple or burgundy color, which may indicate an MDMA like substance. The other thought is that you have a non-MDMA like substance, but like MDMA, it is a secondary amine. That would explain the positive with Simons. Many other compounds - some drugs, some not - will also give a red color with Marquis.
