Question/Concern about combing GHB and heroin.

I took about 750mg of GHB after a pretty strong shot of dope and then took another shot. I realized after that this wasn't particularly smart and I tried to find more I formation on the danger of the combination. All I could find was "could cause fatal respiratory depression." About an hour and a half has passed so I assume I'm in the clear but I do notice that my breathing I'd somewhat more shallow, so that's a bit unsettling. I imagine it would be amplified if I took more of either. I don't think I will be combining these two ever again.
Does anyone have more information on the hazards of this combination, also how dosage of the two factor into this? Also, I was wondering if there were others that have reports of themselves or others taking GHB and heroin? I hope this is the right sub forum.

The main problem with RD is going to sleep and never waking up. Shallow breathing is common for mixing 2 downers. Though ghb is extremely dangerous to be mixing with H IMO. G is dangerous as it is with it's LD50 around 2g. If you think your breathing is too slow then you'll need to stay awake. Don't do it again

Please don't post things that you have no knowledge of. Saying the LD50 of GHB is 2g is an ignorant thing to say. GHB is prescribed under the brand name Xyrem with a starting dose of 4.5g per night and increases gradually up to 9g per night. The actual LD50 of GHB is 1600-2000mg/kg. This means that a 150 pound person would have to consume roughly 109-136g to have a 50% chance of a fatal overdose. That's about a quarter pound minimum. Fatal overdoses on GHB alone just don't happen very often. Almost all fatal overdoses were caused by combining it with other drugs. So next time you post something you have no clue as to what you're talking about at least take a few minutes to research first. If not then just don't post because people don't come here looking for such completely false info.

Having said that...Yes mixing GHB and Heroin can be very dangerous due to respiratory depression, especially in high doses. It's not recommended but it can be done in very small doses compared to what you would normally take of either drug. It definitely is not a good idea to try them with new batches of either drug because potency can very widely. If you are going to mix regardless then start out really low with about 1/4th your normal dose of both and if that doesn't suffice gradually raise the dose. As they say it's a lot easier to take more than it is to take less.
