In the past I couldn't get any e-tabs in the town I live in Holland. The only thing I could get my hands on where tabs that where called S5. Swallowed lots of them and the effects seem similair to MTA-2. A bit of a dizzy feeling and extreme eye-wiggles. It also seems similair to MDMA but much stronger.
MDMA peaks 1,5 hours after ingestion and then slowly wears of. S5 seemed to kick in after 3 hours and gets stronger every hour. I once swallowed 2 tabs of exactly 125mg = 250mg. I remember not being able to control the substance very well. I was lying on the ground puking my guts out, feeling very dizzy and had extreme difficulties breathing. I can't get my hands on S5 anymore, but I really want some info on it. Cause it might have caused chronic anxiety in me.
Is this a research chemical? I can't find any info!
 
Can you describe the pill a little better?
125mg pills each or combined?
What color are they?
Was "S5" imprinted on the pill?
A little more info would be helpful
 
The pill doesn't have any logo, only a score. The pills are 4mm x 8mm. Taste is very chemical, more than MDMA. They used to be sold in Dutch Smart Shop on the research chemicals shelf. There was a description at the package in Dutch. I'll try to translate the important parts.
1 pill contains 125mg of S5
S5 is very much like MDMA but heavier. Side effects are: fibrations of the eye, convulsions.
First take half to test response.

My friend and I swallowed 2 at once. Another friend told us we looked like we could drop dead any minute. We got some unpleasant effects.
Very weird but we both didn't know how to feel.
I mean we didn't know if we where happy, sad, hungry. Unlike E. Both of our skins where totally yellow and my eyes seemed to be swollen with HUGE pupils. Never seen them so big on E. Heaviest drug I ever had. Not totally pleasant! Hope I informed you some more
 
If they were selling in Smart Shops, I'd go for 2c-t-2, but you didn't mention any visuals... Perhaps some gawdawful BZP/TFMPP combo?
 
no I don't think it was 4-MTA, because they sold 4-MethylThioAmphetamine too under the name MTA-2, they also sold MTA-1, what chemical name that might be i don't know. But 2 S5 tablets where sold for 15 euro. 7,5 euros a piece. Each contain 125 mg. 4-MTA tabs where sold for only 5 euro's a piece. So I don't think they where 4-MTA. The shop also spoke about S7, a relative. Now you can't buy them no more. And I don't even want to, cause I get real quality E for only 0.80 euro a piece (that's $0.70) instead of 7.5 euros a piece. And I like E more cause it doesn't give you the spinning feeling. S5 and 4-MTA really is much more difficult. We did about 100 of those tabs and always where blasted for 8 to 10 hours (with 250mg). One time I flipped when combined a S5 and MTA. Very unpleasant hallucinations, always had a yellow face and arms (kidney???) swollen eyeballs. Not much euforic. Lots of energy. I think you can compare it with PMA or something less stronger. But it works very long. Onset: 2 / 3 hours
With a very long peak that get heavier within 6 hours. Then slowly fades. Very HARD drugs

Crackhead, 4-MTA was sold as 125mg pills and the long onset/long duration you report as well as the overall aversive/unpleasant effects you describe really matches the 4-MTA picture.
Read this and tellme does it match your experience ?
 
He thanks, you're absolutely right. I think it is 4-MTA. Wow, heavy stuff! Thank you guys. I bet 250mgs is a high dose. We always had the same insane experience when dosed 250mgs. But what I don't understand is that the smartshop just sold the tabs to everybody. When we bought them, we where kids of 15/16 years old. They didn't even warn us about the dangers. Isn't that weird?
 
So they just sold a dangerous chemical compound similair to PMA to kids 15 years old!!?!?!
Today I'll go to that smartshop and try convince them to start ordering and selling AMT, 5-MEO-DMT, 5-MEO-DIPT, DXM. Maybe I'm lucky!
 
thats a tough one, whether or not to classify 4-MTA as a psychedelic. its like speed, except it affects serotonin instead of norepenephrine/dopamine, and for those reasons, it has similar effects to mdma. its about as 'psychedelic' as mdma (which i do consider to be one). i say its acceptable in either forum, but would probly be more appropriate in PD.
