Question about Terpin Codein

Hello, I had a question about Terpin Codein, which is sold as Tabletts in South East Asia, and I brought them back.

Reading up about Terpin, i found out about a Cough Syrup where Terpin Hydrate was also used but banned in the late 80's 'cause of the alcohol in the solution, and Terpin Hydrate apparently not helping for what it was prescribed for.

To get to the point, the Pills, which i brought back, contain 10 mg Codein and 100 mg Terpin Hydrate each. And i was therfore wondering if there could be any dangers consuming 1000mg of Terpin Hydrate ( cause i want to take 100mg Codein).

If it does contain alcohol, mixing it at high doses with codeine will lead to potentiation of respiratory depression. That's all I found about this combination, so I think the alcohol in it makes it unsafe. That's all I can tell you, not knowing more about Terpin Hydrate. In doubt, do not consume.
