Question about stimulants please help if you are knowledgable

So I don't use drugs other than prescribed drugs for legit reasons, but I am taking a drugs course in university and learned that its common for people who do stimulants (amphetamines for example) to become cold, especially in their hands and fingers.

Yet my prof said that one dangerous thing from stimulants is that you and especially your brain can overheat.

So what should someone do if they feel cold while using stimulants? Are you only in danger of overheating because people do them in jam packed raves where everyone is sweating, and then would it be good to listen to put on a sweater if you are cold? Or should you force youself to endure the cold to not overheat yourself?
