Question about speed (meth) tolerance

Does anyone know how long it takes to reduce ones' tolerance to speed? How long would I have to be totally straight for to redevelop zero or minimal tolerance? Is this even possible? How dose dependant is tolerance reduction? I have done a search on this and didn't come up with any answers, so any advice or feedback would be welcome.

i'm no expert, as i'm trying to figure it out myself. but here's what i think: in the first clean days, you tend to be lethargic. when your body adjusts back to its normal energy level without any substances, that's when your reaction to such substances will be close to first consumptions

This depends on things such as how long you have been using, how much you're currently taking, the frequency of doses, the quality of stuff, etc.. things such as are all factors..

This is a good question, and again, there is no definitive answer, the things I listed above are all factors that would affect the time it takes to go back to 'normal' .. if you have an 'average habbit' (whatever that means, I wont even attempt to define it) then it will lessen with each passing day, and I would say that within about 6-10 days you're back to being able to get off on whatever the first dose was that you took.. again, please do not challenge this figure because there are just SO MANY things that can change this time.. some people could tweak their balls off for 6 months straight, then wait 5 days and then get off on a single keybump, while others can have a weekend of fun and still be fucked the next weekend.. the goodnews is that USUALLY the time it takes to recover is low - meth is a drug thats out of yer system fast and the brain does good as keeping you in check!
Is this even possible?
Yes, of course, you recover from all drugs, it just takes time..
How dose dependant is tolerance reduction?
Very much so. Period.

hi, i know this is somewhat slightly unrelated but i was wondering why a friends doctor suggested that he join a methodone program for his speed dependency as i would have thought this to be an uncommon suggestion for hs situation?

someone got something wrong.
that just makes no sense.

Methadone for a speed habit? What the hell kind of doctor is he going to?
As far as tolerance, i think every individual is different.

well its looks like the program is going ahead.
i realise that the approach he is taking is somewhat unusual but why do u think it would be unsuccessful?

Because methadone is used to treat narcotic withdrawl (which has physical symptoms), not stimulant withdrawl (which only has psychological symptoms).
You edited that post and still couldn't capitalize anything, cite your quote, or spell all the multisyllabic words right? I weep for the future.

Please, I’m trying to gain an understanding into my friend’s situation, not criticism on my somewhat lax grammar skills.

yeah it does sound strange that ur friends doc has recommended methadone for a stimulant addiction. methadone is usually only used for treating narcotic withdrawals, partly because they cause physical & psychological symptoms.
stimulants do cause a psychological dependancy & it is possible that they can cause a physical addiction over a long period of heavy use. besides that it makes no sense to me at all... tell him 2 get a second opinion
