Hello there
I never used oxycontin, or any type of opiate for that matter.
I have 3 5 milligram pills and my question is: Is it better to snort this stuff rather then to crush it and ingest it orally? What would be different?
 
You'd be best off just eating the pills. I just ate 3 5mgs oxy instant releases, and I have a nice buzz going on. Although I've tried many other opiates, I have virtually no tolerance.
You'll be just fine eating them.
1 won't be enough for a good buzz, 2 or 3 should set you right. I'd suggest starting with 2 of them, and if that's not enough after about 15 minutes, eat the other one.

If you guys don't want to read a post about oxy, JUST SKIP OVER IT. It's the moderators job to deal with this anyways. Wah wah mommy Edvard broke the rules, make him stand in the corner!

Read the fucking post forum guidelines which you obviously have not. There are No OC post allowed. Besides what you have sound like generic percocet. If it is you can't snort it because of the acetametaphin. No more OC post. Just eat them...
 
OxyContin contains oxycodone. So does Percocet, Percodan, Roxicet, Endocet, etc.
OxyContin does not come in doses as small as 5mgs of oxycodone. So therefore, you don't have oxycodone.
10-20mgs would be perfect, so your best bet would be to eat all three pills.
 
first off they dont make a 35mg pill. they make 10mg, 20, 40,80,and 160mg pills. this is in the u.s. by the way. maybe in europe or something they make 35mg pills. anyways i was hooked on oxys for 2 years. its a bad drug and tuff to kick. i got on methadone to get off the oxys. i am getting ready to detox of the methadone. good luck and be careful. oxys are bad news. when ou snort them or shoot them there is no time release. snorting them is ok. shooting them is the best. anyways good luck and have some laxatives cause you wont shit for 2 weeks on those oxys
 
The poster meant he had three 5mg pills....not 35mg pills. I suspect he was talking about oxycodone tabs cause there's no such thing as a 5mg oxycontin tab either.
Btw, they stopped manufacturing 160mg oxycontin awhile ago.

Oxycodone is an excellent drug if used properly. Oxycodone does not make you abuse it. You choose to abuse it. Any problems thereof are because you are a bad person, not because you took a bad drug.
But yes, it is tough to kick if you become addicted to it.
i got on methadone to get off the oxys.
You should have done some research first, as that was probably a bad decision.
i am getting ready to detox of the methadone.
It would have been a lot easier to simply taper down your oxycodone use and detox from that.
oxys are bad news.
Only if you abuse them and don't respect how powerful oxycodone is.

Let's try this again. When you remove the outter
coating and crush the pills, you defeat the time release mechanism by exposing the oxycodone particles which were mixed throughout the pill with the filler and non-dissolvable particles.
snorting them is ok. shooting them is the best.
This is definantly subject to debate. Oxycodone works just fine if taken orally. It works fine if snorted. However, when injected oxycodone may produce a nice rush, but the high is weak and last only an hour at most. Your tolerance also goes amazingly high when you are injecting it.

Maybe you should try eating fiber. Even daily use of oxycodone and/or heroin will not stop me from doing my thing.

Wow SovietContin, you ripped that short reply from kristofire apart. I've never really commented, but I enjoy your posts - very informative. I wanted to say something about kristofire's post, but I'm glad I waited for someone else to, you set things straight.

and as far as injecting oc's...unless you know what you are doing (ie. not just filtering it through a cotton ball) injecting them is a hazard to your health in the long run.
