question about opium smoking

assuming that it actually *is* opium (a couple of little black rocks), what would be the best way to smoke it? i have heard crack pipe, only problem is, i wouldn't know a crack pipe if it bit me in the ass

there are plenty of head shops around, i don't want to go in there asking "how much are your crack pipes?" any alternatives? (i don't mind buying a pipe if that's the best way to do it) plus, do i keep it in rock form or shave off little bits? i welcome as much information as possible.
 
You apply a direct flame... so get a regular weed pipe, and some opium flavored tobacco, put the opium on the tobacco, and smoke... some would say "PhreeX, why not use the mary jane?" .. to which I would reply; "because the marijuana high fucks up the nice opium buzz" ...
