Question about Opana

I'll try to make this short.

I have an interview with a factory coming up in a couple months. If I'm hired, they require passing a urine test. The cutoff is 2,000 nanograms/milliliter. I think that's relatively high.

I have a strong habit. I always snort my 'pans. I snort maybe 40-60mg every day. I have been wanting to taper down for a while. Now I have a good reason to. Well. I hate the Opana withdrawals. You all probably know. They are the WORST. I want to taper down as comfortably as possible.

I have a few questions.

1) how can I taper down as quickly and comfortably as possible?

2) how long before the urine test should I STOP the opana? How long can it be detected in urine when snorted?

3) what are some tips to beat my addiction? To tell myself "I have some opana. I need to use it only when I absolutely need to. Not when I want to."

4) words of encouragement? I am a chronic pain sufferer. I have 3 bulging disks in my neck. And 4 ruptured disks in my upper back. How can I use my opana smart? Only when my pain is bad?

Thank you

You and I and in the same boat bud. I feel for you but I've found I've never had the self control to really taper properly but you may be different. I usually run out of my Rx early and have to suffer for about a week and yes - IT SUCKS. However, I ran out on Sat. morning last week and now on Tuesday, I'm pretty good and almost functional with some caffeine. Tiredness is the worse. I did have the runs for two days but I'm good now - Sorry! I'm afraid it's going to hurt but you can do it. To boot, you have a great reason to come off them for a bit. The good news is when you start up again, it won't take as much to "do ya". I'm just being brutally honest, and it does suck but there you go.

I don't have an RX but I do have good connections. My age makes it so any doctor would laugh if I asked for opana. But the problem is hydros, oxy, morphine, they just don't work...

The first problem is that you NEVER ask for something specific. You present yourself to the doc with what's wrong with you, complete with documentation (X-rays, MRI etc.) and let the doc do the prescribing. If you're screwed up enough, you'll get around to Opana sooner or later. Most legit places steer clear of OxyContin, in my area at least. If you're trying to pull the wool over their eyes, it probably won't work anyway, so bag it. Good Luck with the job~!

Personally those other meds never did much for me either but especially hydro. Oxy is king in my world along with Opana, but that's just me. Your body may just need a break.
