Question about iv use

I have been iv'ing meth for some time now and i want to know if its normal that its making my veins rock hard. I was a iv heroin user for 7 years and got tired of being a physical slave to that drug and doing the life installment plan in jail so i discovered meth an well i dont want to glorify but i enjoy it and i know when its time to stop goto sleep and take a break but heroin never made my veins hard it just gave me vicious track marks. But I've been noticing its making my veins rock hard and if this is something that is gonna stop the blood flow in my body or something this might sound paranoid and i know i shouldn't be shooting meth i know its bad but i do take breaks as i stated and i actually hold down a full time job now and have money saved so on one end of spectrum i feel i am better off then i was on heroin but besides the point just wanna know if anyone knows whys its making my veins turn into a rock lol
