Question about injecting meth

Ok so I recently changed needle size to 1cc 30g 5/16 short needles instead of my normal 1cc 29g 1/2 longs. So I've been having a hard time with these new needles I can get it to hit normally but I get a crazy feeling all the way up my arm seconds after I finish the shot. I know what hitting a nerve or artery feels like and it's nowhere close. My heart rate increases and it's a very uncomfortable feeling.

I've done three shots with these new syringes and have had this effect all three times. I haven't done a shot yet all day and already feel withdraws cause I'm honestly scared to shoot again, so I stick to smoking some for the day. Well after 3 hours of feeling like crap (smoking it doesn't really cut it after being so used to injecting multiple times daily) I tried a shot 10 mins ago and couldn't get it to hit after two try's so I gave up and proceeded to use a new syringe and try again. But right when I took off my tourniquet I had the same feeling! I didn't inject any of the shot whatsoever! My heart rate increases and my arms has the same uncomfortable sensation!

What am I doing wrong? I'm using new needle everytime and 91% alcohol to clean my arm before and after. The meth is pretty good quality crystal shards, and I only do about .05g or less per shot.

One more question. I know some people say they do 1/3g to 1/2g shots because of tolerance! I think that's crazy! And would result in a bad OD. The most I've ever done was .2 and it was the strongest/best shot I've ever done. And I was at the peak of my tolerance a about a month long binge.
How do people take shots so huge without freaking out/ODing? And if I'm coming down (feel like crap when you wake up) and know I don't have much in my system, what would be a good amount I could do without worrying about an overdose, I'm 6' 130lbs and I do about a gram every two maybe three days(smoking and injecting) for tolerance

In my experience those people doing massive shots are usually getting stuff that is really cut. If youre getting a "flashy" rush with say, 100-150mg then you could see how a 300-350mg shot could be what some people aim for though. When I IV meth I personally like the rush to be incapacitating but still dont go above 0.25. It should be a heavy, lasting rush like effect with 0.2+ for ANYONE even with "mega tolerance". I found that the long term tolerance to meth and stimulants in general rises very slowly overall and tends to plateau at times... but the short term tolerance could easily get people fiending for the rush and readministering massive shots. I found 50% or more of my tolerance to be negated by getting 2 nights of good nights sleep and food + vitamins. I also found that its better to smoke or sniff a little bit to get you back to baseline (if you use regularly) before taking a shot, and you shouldn't be readministering shots as the first rush is gonna be the most intense. So I usually aim to smoke some before IV as I find it makes the rush fatter (takes your breath away/makes you breath heavily for a half min with intense hedonistic mental euphoria and bodyload lasting for 3-10 min followed by being really high for like 3 days).

To answer your question, I honestly don't know why that could be happening. However I honestly doubt it has anything to do with changing the type of rig you use from 30g to 29g. If anything 30g's are safer. However I would like to advise you not to use a tourniquet unless you REALLY need it. If you do use one, take it off once youve registered and keep it on for a max 20-30 seconds total. Don't inject while the touriniquet is on, it could lead to blown/leaky veins.

I've had the burning sensation type feeling inch up my arm and into my shoulder before, I attributed it to my stuff not being properly washed of solvents or a "leaky" vein (happens after administering in same spot for a while).

I would honestly take a few days rest if I were you and then see if you get a burning sensation again. Or, try a vein on a different arm.

Thanks for the reply, you say to take off tourniquet.. I've never really taken it off before always after, and I use my leg as a tourniquet (I put my left arm under my left leg and on top of my right thigh) and the weight of my leg makes my vein show, and very easy to hit..

Iv decided was either this problem causing a leaky veins, my skin looks a tad bit bruised, brownish colored and goes from track mark to two inches down my forearm and it's very faint.

Or could it be an infection in my heart?

HEART INFECTION (ENDOCARDITIS)

CAUSE: Dirt or bacteria in your veins that eventually travels to your heart valves where it builds and causes damage.

SIGNS could be: Chest pains, shortness of breath, fever, heart palpitations and/or fainting.

CARE: See a doctor when symptoms first appear; if it’s left untreated, you could die.

REDUCE YOUR RISK: Do this by trying to make sure all your works and your injection site are clean. Try to use a new needle every time. Always use a filter!

Or even worse, I did a shot about 5 days ago and didn't finish it, still had 20units left out of 50units (1cc 29g) with blood in it from checking if I hit or not, I was feeling great I was up moving feeling perfect, I waited 20 mins before I finished the shot, but still shook it up before I did. First sign of heart beat spiking and within 5 mins had a dull achy pain in the back of my left knee(but I shot in my left arm? I instantly suspect blood clot) I got really light headed and started to freakout a little bit, told my boss I wasn't feeling well and that I might pass out, she told me too sit down and eat something. I ended up calling a friend and he calmed me down quite well, so I continued on the day like normal, that night the pain in my leg got worse.. It hurt really bad to get up from a squaring position.

The next day I do another shot and same feeling as I wrote originally but 10x worse. I was alone so after extremely freaking out I go to the hospitol. I was honest and all the did was put me on an iv, nothing else and diagnose cellulitis and prescribe antibiotics. That never got filled.. I mention all of the above to the doctor and he said it was nothing(ignorant and bias.. I felt he was thinking just another junkie.) It's been 5 days and I still have the pain in my leg but not nearly as bad as it was

BLOOD CLOTS AND EMBOLISMS

Blood clots can form in veins throughout the body. An embolism is a free-floating blood clot moving through the veins and arteries.

CAUSE: Injecting pieces of dirt or bacteria can cause clots – they get stuck in the vein and block the blood flow. Also, blood clots form around scarred veins.

SIGNS could be: A clot in your arms and legs may cause pain and swelling. In your lungs it may cause chest pain, shortness of breath, unconsciousness, or death. A blood clot in your brain is called a stroke. This may cause numbness and/or weakness in any part of your body, fainting, blurred vision, speech problems, unconsciousness or death.

CARE: go to a hospital right away – this is serious; you could die!

REDUCE YOUR RISK: You can do this by trying to keep dirt and bacteria out of your hit. Use a new needle, sterile water, clean cooker/and filter every time you inject.

And last but not least if it's not either of those than it's just a psychological paranoia of OD and everytime I attempt to shoot I get nervous and worried, resulting in placebo rush... But that's just my opinion

I find it easier to use the long needle as well , I hit the vein but I get a weird feeling not the one you should get when I use the smaller ones . im pretty sure reason being is I have deep veins and although I hit with the vein a lot of it leaks out , wear as with the longer ones you get the perfect hit

i have very few locations that i can inject so i rotate but just between these places and my bloods always been thick
but lately its been thicker then usual and now whenever i do a shot it registers but EXTREMLY slow, and i havent got the taste of the meth after injecting
and ive had weird headaches for the past couple days every time i do a shot it feels like pressure, throbbing, sometimes like somethings crawling under my scalp
and my arms (where i inject) get tired very easily and theres a weird throbbing in different spots that comes and goes
and the muscles in my legs have been cramping and staying stiff and feel very heavy when i try to walk
Whats going on.?
