Question about heroin use (the day(s) after)

Hello, everybody. Well, to get straight to it, I used heroin for the first time late Friday night.

In total, I did about 4 bags. Snorted 1, shot 2. First time, I snorted 1 (I think, maybe half of one) and my friend shot me the other (possibly the other half of the first one). I was kind of drunk, that's why I'm not completely sure on the amounts.

Second session, my friend shot me a bag (I'm pretty sure the second time was a full bag).

Anyway, I felt kind of nauseous, dry heaved on the second one. Felt fine when I was lying down.

Fast forward to the next morning. Lying in bed, not a problem. Felt kind of bleh, but alright. Now, I got out of bed and I'm like sweating and have a VERY bad headache. Almost threw up on the ride home. Had to keep breathing deeply to stop it.

Felt like shit whenever I stood up for most of Saturday. Today (Sunday) and last night I felt depressed. Like, I really regret doing it. That and the fact that my friend has been doing this. I don't know, it just is kind of fucking me up. Like, I don't want to ever do this shit again.

Now, I did drink that night as well (as mentioned), but I've never really had hangover like this from drinking. Maybe once or twice in my early days. Just want to make sure this is somewhat..normal. A heroin hangover if you will. Also, my appetite was shot for a while. I've been drinking plenty of fluids, eating small meals and popping vitamins and herbal products. I'm feeling okay. Had a good long cry earlier this morning after thinking about my friend, but I'm OK.

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, guy.

Well, you combined heroin and alcohol, which is a no no. You didn't say if you have any tolerance to opiates/opioids at all (how much you usually do if any). Combine those and I'm not surprised you feel like crap. Also sounds like maybe you did too much heroin (especially on top of the alcohol). I would give it a couple of more days and you should feel back to normal. I think that a lot of perople who do heroin for the first time or even people who do heroin but shoot up for the first time frequently feel regret and depression after. They have done it.

So in the future, definitely avoid doing the 2 together as this can be very dangerous. But I think you will be fine very soon. I would also avoid shooting heroin again if you do decide to use again. This generally leads down a dark road and the speed of the travel can sometimes surprise you.
