Question about diazepam...

I have heard from a few people that taking 10mg of valium has about the same effect that you would get out of taking 1mg of xanax? Is this true?
Also, what is the difference between a diazepam, and a BENZOdiazepam? What does a benzo add to a diazepam?

diazepam is a generic valium....valium is classified as a BENZODIAZEPINE.....

i would rather have 10mg valium, but anyway.....you can find about ten conversion lists out there which contain different equations.....and since since the effects arent the same you cant really have say "X=X" in the first place

There both benzo's but valium has no effect on me. I can take hand fulls of it & feel nothing. Xanix on the other hand rocks me. I think 1mg on Xanax is stronger then 10mg of valium even though there extremly low doses for recreational use...

I'd say thats in the right ballpark! If you like your benzos washed down with booze and are familiar with Xanax while on alchohol I would say stick to that ratio.
