Quanine--in my heroin--shit...

Ok I've had a steady supply of good dope for like 4 months now--but it is like a roller coaster some weeks it is crazy good and others i feel like it is a weaste of $$ and time..... anyway I was at my girls house and the shit I had last week was the best dope i have ever had in my life---I could'nt remebr much from any of the nights I used--My friends said i was total blasted but in a good way-- So i go to my girls house and guess what her mom is there--Mind you she is from Spanish Harlem so she has seen every drug out there(street wise) so she goes you high??? I said no she said It looks like some put a ton of quanine in what ever you are on...! I was holy shit I busted...So my questin is -would they still use quanine today???and how rare or not rare is it...I overheard her talking and in the 80's you got a bag of powder with a whole lot of quanine...So why does it produce such good effects if that was really in there---or maybe it was'nt and the dope is Great right now....thanx for the input.....

Yes, they still use quanine. When you buy "heroin" off the streets in DC, you're really buying quanine cut with a little heroin.
Quanine doesn't do anything other than make the bags/vials/wraps weigh more. Some people say it makes the heroin hit harder or makes the nausea go away. Others say it helps when you snort it or when you inject it.
That's bullshit. It does nothing but make you pay more for less heroin.
You don't want quanine. You want raw. Good heroin comes in chunks or rocks. Not that those aren't already cut, but if it's powdered, it's cut to hell.
Some people on this board say the best heroin will be white. I have no clue what planet they're from. I get mine from Baltimore which is reputed to have the best dope on earth. The best batches are DARK brown/grey and will turn the water BLACK. The DARKER the BETTER.
With the exception of one occassion, light = more cut.

Correct. Your friends mother is like any other clueless drug user that hears someone say "oh man, when you're really fucked up it's quanine" .. not the case, it's a cut, the only justification is that it will make you more money..

Personally I find the best dope to be tan or brown, white is often synthetic which is more potent or better, but isn't actually heroin..
