So i hate purple weed, it makes me feel super tired, and i just dont like the feeling at all.

So lately i've been only trying to smoke greens, and one of the big drug dealers came over and showed me that i might be tricking myself into thinking the weed is green when its not.

He had this weed, Pure green with orange hairs and a little sparky. But it smelled like purp, and was actually SUPER strong purp.

SO how are we suppose to know what weed we are getting, when even purp with no actualy "purple" on it is super strong?!

theres a good chance the purpleness of a bud means nothing, it just means the weed was exposed to certain growing conditions for a set amount of time, while the plant was budding. iirc.

While some strains of pot do have some purple in them, the number one cause of purple buds from what I'd read/seen, is cold weather just before harvest. Makes the bud turn purple through some miracle of plant life. Dealers then cop it off at high grade hydro purp, when it's simply a strain of weed manipulated to turn purple.

Pretty certain that purple has no indication on the type of high. You either get indicas, or sativas (or some mix of the two), and those different strains of marijuana are what make you either feel really lazy and tired, or set your mind abuzz.

And you never really know what kind of weed you are getting unless it's straight from the grower. It's an underground black market, there are no guarantees. So just take it and smoke it, or start growing your own/get better connections.

^^ There are certain strains that are naturally purple such as the Bay Area classic, "Grandaddy Purp". I've seen that strain turn out green though, so there are no sure-fire ways to know. GDP has a very distinct smell tho

wow, this thread seems to be a misconception. What is your reasoning for hating purple? Nothing valid one would assume since purple can be a sativa or indica hybrid unless your racist or something.. 50% of purple widow turn purple but the green buds produced from the plants that do not are still considered purple widow.

^exactly.

purp is purp is purp, man.

Just had some really amazing Granddaddy Purple a couple weeks ago, and it was some amazing herb.

I enjoy purple strains just as much as any other, and don't see why people are now being picky on the color of their headies.

leaf ridges leave one to wonder if that creation ^ is related or from an f2 or DJ shortz blueberry.
