Purity

What can I do to be pure?
To have my blood bleed clear..
not red..
or blue..
To be transparent..
and only a memory on the wind.
Why is it all my thoughts i make..
as beautiful they can be..
always seem to fall heavy..
and thump as I hit the ground.
We are born.
Without sin..
or are we?
Without the corruption of mind..
or fear of the other man..
just pure.
I don't think I ever was..

Is it possible that the purity we seek is just a state of mind like all the rest? And that we can acheive it only in flashing moments that go by so quickly we sometimes miss them? I have no idea, but god damn I love the journey.
