purity issues?

So basically me and some of my mates wanted to get something to erm... liven up a party we're going to next weekend. Now I know the forum rules, and no buying or selling though here (and that's not what I'm trying to do at all), but I was wondering if any of the more "experienced" members here could give me some info on the purity of E. (I'm not so keen on taking something that has glass shards or glue in it or anything)

Pills are frequently cut with other substances, and sometimes do not contain actual MDMA. Some people enjoy certain cuts (i.e. speed) whereas others ingredients could be very harmful. Risks can be reduced (not eliminated) by finding a source that you trust, checking pillreports.com to see if you can find your pill there, and to use a testing kit (EZ Test or Dancesafe).

When you are unsure of the quality of a pill it is always best to start with a minimal amount to make sure that it actually does contain MDMA.

There isn't much more I can add, Legerity pretty much said it best. What I did when I first wanted to try it is ask around to find out what was in my area and then find out who's tried it, there was no info on pill reports, to get some reviews.

Might also be a good idea to get educated about mdma by having a read of the basics section in the ED directory.
