hey all. i just got a G of mdma crystals. ive gotten them before and they were great. pretty positive it was just mdma, really nice and mellow yet amazing roll. im loving it here in holland, all the E (or as the dutch say "pillen" or "xtc") is so fantastic. pills in america were so often dirty and weak (75-100mg average) here pills go from 140 to 220mg! anywho, sorry for getting carried away xP
point is: i hear that "pure" mdma is supposed to be WHITE. im getting yellowish-whitish crystals which look whiter when crushed up into powder.
this is how my mdma looks like:

this is what i sometimes hear its supposed to look like(color wise):

anyone got any clue or explanation? thanks
is there a difference?

tiny amounts of impurities (like <1% or something) can produce change in appearence/colour. if you trust your source, wouldn't worry about it really (allthough testing might always be smart).

its just down to how it was synthesised.
since it was more than likely done in some shitty home lab obv the synth isnt going to be perfect.

Pure MDMA can be a range of textures and colors based on how it was made. Creating MDMA is a fairly elaborate process and does not involve at home chemistry labs- that's more likely a method of making crystal meth. Because it involves obtaining safrole which is illegal and tracked by the government, MDMA is not something easily concocted even by a skilled organic chemist.

It's common for it to be off-color (a little gold, a little brown etc.) but pure white chunks exist too. How smooth it feels or looks can often just be a question of how it is ground up, but some people are suspicious of ultra fine powder as it can easily be "watered down" with inactive products like corn starch and baking soda.
