Come with me and you'll be
In a world of pure imagination
Take a look and you'll see
Into your imagination
We'll begin with a spin
Trav'ling in the world of my creation
What we'll see will defy
Explanation
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Want to change the world, there's nothing to it
There is no life I know
To compare with pure imagination
Living there, you'll be free
If you truly wish to be
If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Want to change the world, there's nothing to it
There is no life I know
To compare with pure imagination
Living there, you'll be free
If you truly wish to be
- from willy wonka and the chocolate factory

Find one person you can count on forever, one person you can love forever, and one person you can be with forever... and if you're lucky, it will all be the same person.
"Live for the memories."

I love this movie, for so long the only song I ever thought of from that movie was the one Marilyn Manson covered but this brings a little smile back to the memory of that movie

i absolutley adore willy wonka. roald dahl is such an amazing writer, and the movie was adapted beautifully. the "pure imagination," charlie's hopefulness, grampa joe. oh god. how can you NOT be entranced by that movie? it makes me feel like a very content four-year-old, and i believe that song captures the essence of the movie. thanks for posting it.

Ya know, I still have a copy of this on VHS... and now that the anniversary DVD is out, it's on my shopping list. Willy Wonka has forever been one of my favorites... and Gene Wilder is one of my all time favorites. One of these days I might even read the book the movie is based on.
